ALIAS EYE new album!

They've finished recording their fourth album (no need to add "finally" to this sentence, right? ;)) In the next weeks, the album will be mixed and mastered, so they're hoping to be able to let you listen to the finished product soon. They're very happy with the recordings - here's hoping you'll like them too. Check their website for updates soon; they know things have been awfully quiet for the last couple of months but that will change soon!

Jack Hertz Bio:
Inspired by the mystery of life. I manipulate sound to create intangible techno-organic impressions between music and noise. "My first experiments with sound were in the early 1980s with analog reel machines, microphones, percussion and a Casio VL-Tone. My first true synthesizer was the Alpha Syntauri digital synthesizer that was was hosted by an Apple IIe PC. The learning curve was steep, but it provided a plethora of functions most keyboards on the market would not have for nearly a decade. Soon after came Yamaha's DX7 introducing FM synthesis that I have been working with ever since http://jackhertz.com/"

Music From The Film Bio:
MUSIC FROM THE FILM IS GARY YOUNG AND ARTHUR HARRISON AND WAS BORN IN MERRYLAND IN 2007, BRETT GROSS ADDED ON DRUMS FOR HOW THE WEST WAS ONCE. ECSTATIC TO ANNOUNCE THE ADDITION OF KEVIN BUCKHOLDT ON VARIOUS ASSORTMENTS & DRUMS. WORLD TEAR SOON.

Doogie White on the set of Kruk’s video

Earlier this month, Tank played during Metal Hammer Festival in Spodek, Katowice. The band's singer, Doogie White, used his stay in Poland to participate in the shooting of the videoclip for Kruk's  song "In Reverie". After his guest appearance on the band's album "It Will Not Come Back" (released by Metal Mind Production in June), the time came to appear in the band's video as well. White willingly agreed to cooperate with the Polish musicians, sparing no compliments. Soon, a mutual understanding between the artists was born, which influenced the atmosphere on the set. We will have a chance to see the results of this cooperation in mid October when the video is released. In the meantime, Metal Mind Productions has put a photo gallery from the set on their Facebook profile. If you want to check what the work on the video looked like on that day, follow THIS link.

"Doogie isn't only a great singer, but also a wonderful man. On the set of the video for 'In Reverie' he created a friendly atmosphere, which influenced everyone so much that soon we all forgot about the stress that took hold of us at first. He motivated us to forget about all our inhibitions and to feel the rock 'n' roll madness. We also heard lots of various stories from White's colorful history, usually full of vivid details of the kind that you would never find in a interview. On that day, however, what was the most important for us was the words of acknowledgment and praise which he expressed on several occasions with reference to Kruk."

Kruk's album "It Will Not Come Back" is out now. Full details can be find on Metal Mind's website HERE. Doogie White's debut solo album "As Yet Untitled" will be released on 24th October in Europe and 8th November in USA. Full details about this release can be find HERE.

NEWS FROM THE BAND ON TOUR IN THE USA!

Uriah Heep's second USA tour of 2011 finished on a high, in Las Vegas where a sold out show AND day off at the prestigious Green Valley Resort allowed the band to sample the balmy, exciting, sultry, evocative environment that is Vegas, a unique "must-see" city that has played host to so many of the world's great entertainers. And at 55'Centigrade (yes - 55), 131 Fahrenheit, it takes no time to top up that tan.

In Los Angeles the band welcomed old friends from Frontiers, Universal, EMI, many industry colleagues too, and Keith Emerson was seen sharing a few jokes with the band. Bernie cries of "Hello Hollywood" brought raptures to an enthusiastic crowd who proceeded to sing along to old songs AND new.

The US tour has been successful for the band. Several renowned festivals playing to tens of thousands, and a number of new territories too. This is the 4th trip in 15 months, making up for lost time. The hard work has paid off - the band has been invited to play at the agents / promoters conference in Nashville on Oct

That will make 5 visits Stateside in 18 months and the showcase will help the band to return ever stronger in 2012.

The rest of 2011 is somewhat exciting, as the "Into the Wild" tour moves to Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Austria (headlining for 100,000 Harley Davidson fans), Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, USA, Poland, Slovakia, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, 18 shows in Russia, Venezuela (yes - Venezuela), followed by the band's return to UK, the first tour there since 2008, including a return to Shepherds Bush - the EMPIRE is one of the band's favourite venues.

We hope to see you somewhere on the road.
