The December People's Rattle & Humbug will breathe new life into
Christmas carol classics for this holiday season on October 12th. The
December People perform all newly recorded songs in the style of classic
rock legends like The Who, U2, Santana and Boston. Rattle & Humbug is
the follow-up release to the December People's 2001 critically acclaimed
"Sounds Like Christmas," which also won the Indie-Music Award for that
year.
Group leader and band founder, Robert Berry is the December People's
lead vocalist and bass player. Robert is best known for his work with
Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer of ELP fame, in their band "3." Gary Pihl
is the band's lead guitarist and has been a member of the band Boston
since 1985 and formerly played in the Sammy Hagar band. Mike Vanderhule
is the band's drummer and percussionist and is currently also featured
with the band Y & T. Jack Foster plays second guitar and is an
internationally renowned solo artist. Last, but not least, is David
Medd on keyboards. David is best known as the keyboardist for the
Tubes.
Each member of the December People has injected their own flavor into
the Rattle & Humbug mix creating holiday music unlike any other.
They've taken classic Christmas carols and made them accessible and
enjoyable for listeners of all ages. Their contemporary take on each
song sheds a whole new light on both the classic rock songs that
influenced the music and timeless Christmas carol lyrics. Each song is
familiar and yet brand new.
The December People will be hitting the road this holiday season to
bring their flavor of holiday cheer to a town near you. The band will
be performing a series of live dates in support of Rattle & Humbug. For

THE COMMUNITY
SEASIDE, California – California State University Monterey Bay World
Theater, in collaboration with HIPPO FM 104.3 will bring the
critically-acclaimed December People to the World Theater for a night of
charity and their amazing live performance on November 13, 2010 at 7:30
P.M. Guests are encouraged to bring canned goods that will be used to
benefit the local Food Banks of Monterey and San Benito counties along
with the SPCA. For every five cans of people or pet food brought to the
theater on the night of the performance, a discount of $10 off the
ticket price will be available!
