Quick note from Steve Blaze:
Hello everyone. I hope this finds you all well and happy. A lot has been going on in the Axe camp, so it's time
to get you all in the know.

First off, we are all healing up and getting back on track to start doing some shows. Eric and I still deal with
lots of back pain, but we are not going to let that keep us down. April will bring shows in Louisiana and Houston and
Dallas. We are also working on a movie premier showing in April of the new DVD called One Night in the Temple, along
with 2 cd's of the show, being released on April 15th! We will let you know details. Keep in touch with the FB and web
sites.

We just had a lengthy photo shoot yesterday, so lots of new pics will be up soon. Everyone looked great, and the
mood was wonderful. We are all itching to get back on the stages!

The box set is finally in, and we are getting them sent out as fast as possible. It is a very time consuming
undertaking, as the post office is not that helpful, and each one has to be sent out delicately, especially overseas.
However, it is being done as quickly as we can!

The Ghostly Callings show is still being shopped to networks, and my team and I are doing some new
investigations this month.

I have started writing the next studio album, and I am entering my zone. It will be a journey like never before, I
promise.

In the meantime, I ask you all to call every radio station, email everyone you can, and spread the word that
you want more Lillian on the radio and in the live venues. I keep getting asked why I am not on That Metal Show. GOOD
QUESTION! Feel free to email them and ask why. Remember, we have strength in numbers, and we have a common goal! In the meantime, we are gearing up to get Convergence and One Night in the Temple out to the world and hit the road again.

Swedish rockers H.E.A.T tear down the walls with new album

The long-awaited new studio album from Sweden’s hottest rock and roll band, H.E.A.T, will be officially released by earMusic in the UK on April 14th.  Entitled “Tear Down The Walls”, the album features the new single“A Shot At Redemption” – taken from the same titled 4-track EP, released digitally on February 14th.

Read the official press release and the download album artwork and photos HERE...

Recorded at Bohus Studios with Grammy-award winning producer TobiasLindell, the first sneak peak of the album is the lead single "A Shot AtRedemption".  Watch the teaser video HERE...

The new song confirms all that H.E.A.T showed before and more: a catchyhookline, a driven beat, the obligatory guitar solo and the raw, beyond comparison vocals of singer Erik Grönwall.

The "A Shot At Redemption" EP also includes the previously unreleased tracks "Under Your Skin", a goosebumps worthy acoustic version of H.E.A.T's "In And Out Of Trouble" and a sensual cover of one of the greatest ballads, "She"s Like The Wind".

"Tearing Down The Walls" is the follow-up to the successful "Address The Nation" which was praised by media worldwide as one of the best album's in 2012 and cemented the band's reputation as the new leading band in hard edged melodic rock.  H.E.A.T had a huge hit in Scandinavia with the song "1000 Miles" in 2009 and the band's 2nd Album, "Freedom Rock"was nominated as one of the Top 50 albums in 2010 by the UK’s Classic Rock magazine.

While bands like Foreigner, Journey and Whitesnake are enjoying a resurgence with teenagers who are re-discovering the melodic approach to hard rock, H.E.A.T is carrying the torch forward for a new generation of rock fans. They’re young, ambitious and full of energy.

Lead singer Erik Grönwall and guitarist Eric Rivers will be in London onWednesday March 5th to do advance promotion for the new album.

Dutch Rock Legends FOCUS' Hit Song "Hocus Pocus" Featured In New 'RoboCop' Film!

Dutch Rock Legends FOCUS’ Hit Song “Hocus Pocus” Featured In New 'RoboCop' Film!

London, UK - Focus fans rejoice! The group's 1972 worldwide hit “Hocus Pocus” is now being featured in the major motion picture 'RoboCop' starring Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton. The song, which features the distinctive and virtuosic yodeling by keyboardist Thijs Van Leer, was originally released on the band's critically acclaimed second album 'Moving Waves'.

Check out the 'RoboCop' promo clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8vuu0ZbvX8

Says Thijs, “A good friend of mine was so lucky to be present at the pre-premiere of the new ROBOCOP and he called me WHILE 'Hocus Pocus' was played during the film, shouting, 'Hey Thijs, they put your genius song on the best sequence of the picture!!! Congratulations!!!!!' Since that very moment I am crazily happy about this luxurious feeling: as the composer, the yodeller, Hammond-organ player & flautist!! Halleluya!!!”

With their unique brand of progressive rock, Focus manifested themselves at the start of the '70s as the most successful and appreciated of all the Dutch pop-rock exports. Fronted by founding member Thijs Van Leer, and best known for their hits “Hocus Pocus”, “House of The King” and “Sylvia”, as well as critically acclaimed albums 'Moving Waves', 'Focus 3' and 'Hamburger Concerto', the iconic Dutch music masters are back with their tenth album, which is guaranteed to please their legions of fans!

After a comeback in the early 2000's, which resulted in the well-received albums 'Focus 8' and 'Focus 9', the band regrouped with a fantastic new line-up. Along with Thijs van Leer on vocals, flute and keyboards, back on the drums is beloved Focus drummer Pierre van der Linden, who joined the group on their second album 'Moving Waves' in 1972. Internationally renowned for his rhythmic skills, Pierre remains a defining factor in the Focus sound. Bassist Bobby Jacobs, who comes from a well-acclaimed Dutch musical family and guitarist Menno Gootjes, who participated in Focus at an earlier stage, completes the band's current line-up.

Focus has been performing select shows in support of their forthcoming 11th album 'Golden Oldies', which features re-recordings of classic Focus tracks. Thijs explains, “Producing 'Golden Oldies' is tricky. Both the die hard fans and the 2014 Focus-members were having doubts about this enterprise, because we didn't know if the recent recordings would match the original material, notwithstanding the fact that we had so much fun in doing the session, quick, romantic, virtuoso, full of funny moments & profoundness; But... the final mix turns out to be fantastic and we all are proud to release this album at our earliest convenience!!”

MoonJune proudly presents SUSAN CLYNES - pianist, singer/songwriter, composer from Belgium. For fans of Kate Bush, Annette Peacock, Tori Amos.

"In my dreams the people speak, of who they are, and what they seek"

There are points in your life when you have to go with the moment. You donʼt always know what the consequences will be of such a choice, or if the path you go down is ultimately the right one. Yet in your heart of hearts you sense itʼs the right thing to do. You go with the moment and take that leap into the unknown. Susan Clynes knows all about going with the moment and taking the leap. - Sid Smith (from liner notes)

http://moonjune.com/mjr_web_2013/catalog_mjr/061_SUSAN-CLYNES_Life-Is_MJR061/

"Life Is…" marks the international debut of Belgian singer/pianist Susan Clynes, on New York based MoonJune Records. This release was compiled from three live concerts done at two different locations, each one with a unique band configuration.

The Archiduc, an historic Art Deco bar in Brussels dating back to 1937, served as the backdrop for two of these performances. The first was done in trio format with Nico Chkifion drums and Pierre Mottet on bass. The second was a more intimate solo performance at the Library of The Cultural Center of Bree. The third and final performance saw the return to the Archiduc, this time as a duet with Simon Lenski on cello. Each band configuration provided its own framework and pallet of tonal colors for these diverse sound portraits.

"A Good Man" and "Ileana's Song" make playful use of the drumkit and bass. These clever songs lie somewhere between Slapp Happy-era Dagmar Krause, Elaine Di Falco's work with Thinking Plague, Annette Peacock and early period Kristin Hersh in her band, Throwing Muses. The chiefly instrumental piece, "Les Larmes", a composition about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, is brimming with emotional expression making excellent use of the cello as a universal human voice.

The distilled and emotive songs for voice with piano accompaniment bring to mind such undervalued luminaries as Laura Nyro and Essra Mohawk. Susan's piano work runs the gamut from such radio-friendly performers as Tori Amos and Fiona Apple, briefly dipping into Tony Banks-like arpeggiations and cascades, and arriving at the jazz-inflected polytonality of French composer, Darius Milhaud.

For more info and for purchasing options go to MoonJune's website, click on Susan Clynes.

You can hear the whole album on MoonJune's BandCamp.

• After promotional shows in her native Belgium, Susan Clynes will do a short promo tour in the USA in Spring 2014 with possible performances in Brazil and around Europe (planning is in process).

The Crimson ProjeKCt launch 'Red' from forthcoming 'Live in Tokyo' release

The Crimson ProjeKCt, the King Crimson offshoot featuring 3 current members of that historic band, will release'Live in Tokyo' through InsideOutMusic on March 18, 2014. With the tour set to begin soon as well, the band have revealed the classic 70's King Crimson track 'Red' taken from the live album which can be heard here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__m1tobU8kA&feature=youtu.be

The band had this to say:

"Red is one of the pre-80ies instrumentals that has remained an integral part of King Crimson's repertoire up until the early 2000s. Our interpretation of this classic piece is uniquely energetic and always 'on-the-edge', especially the double drumming from Pat and Tobias. Markus is doubling the main guitar part in a baritone register, which adds a subtle new pushing element to the song. The roar going through the audience when we start playing this is one of the highlights of our shows for us."

Featuring the talents of Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Markus Reuter, Julie Slick and Tobias Ralph; The Crimson ProjeKCt primarily focus on repertoire from the early 1980s through to the mid-90s. The band has a "double trio" line-up, as made popular by Crimson between 1994 - 1997. The full track-listing for the CD & Digital release can be found below:

Band Set For REVOLVER HOTTEST CHICKS IN ROCK TOUR With SICK PUPPIES, EYES SET TO KILL & CILVER

Tour To Run February 20 - March 20 In North America

WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE Performance Set For April 27

It is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you today: Our two brothers Cris 'Pizza' Migliore and Cristiano 'CriZ' Mozzati have decided to retire from LACUNA COIL.

Both Pizza and CriZ have had big changes impact their lives recently - we know how stressful and difficult it can be to balance both real life and the life of a professional touring musician, and we have nothing but total respect for their decisions to focus on their families and lives at home.

We have such incredible memories of traveling and exploring the world together with Pizza and CriZ, and we want to wish them both all the best as they begin these exciting new chapters in their lives. We will never forget the important roles they played in this band, or the incredible times we shared together.

THANK YOU PIZZA AND CRIZ! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!

Cristina, Andrea, Marco, and Maus.

LACUNA COIL

From Pizza:

Dear friends,

After over 16 years spent with the LACUNA COIL family, I decided to move on and begin a new chapter in my life. This hasn't been an easy decision, as you can imagine, but I felt like I needed to change some things around.

I'm glad and honored that I've had the chance to be able to embark on such an amazing adventure, with such wonderful people as "travel companions"! I will never forget my time in LACUNA COIL and I wish my sister and brothers all the best for whatever the future may bring.

I'm sure you understand! I would also really like to thank every single one of you for showing such amazing love and support for a small band from Milan, Italy, who would've never thought would become what it has during these incredible 16 years. Thank you all and enjoy this last record we did with me and CriZ as part of the line-up - it's some of the best music we've done and I'm sure you'll love it!

Keep on rockin'!!

Cris 'Pizza' Migliore

From CriZ:

Hey Coilers,

As many of you guys and gals know, during this last year lots of very important things happened in my life - something really amazing, and deep enough to make me sit in front of my laptop to write these bittersweet words...

I'm leaving my "second family" LACUNA COIL because I need this change in my life... this hasn't been an easy decision at all and I've come to it with pain in my heart, because together we laughed and cried; we fought and gave all our lives to this amazing band. Together we lived the dream for 16 wonderful, intense and unforgettable years. All you guys around the world gave me such positive and sincere vibes and emotions that will stay embedded in my heart for the rest of my life! I want to say thank you Coilers, friends, crew, partners, and people that listen to our music for being such an inspiration for me. To my brothers and sis I'd like to say the following: Never stop to kicking asses, you sure know how to!

The new record is the best thing we've done together. I have put all my passion and feelings into it and I'm sure you'll love it. I'll never stop playing drums - as we all know, if you were born with rock inside your veins, you'll die with it... and this is what I will do.

Take care and stay Coilers!

CriZ

Century Media Records would like to extend a massive thank you to Cris "Pizza" Migliore and Cristiano "CriZ" Mozzati, as they will be missed - 'BROKEN CROWN HALO' marks a new chapter in the ever-evolving history of LACUNA COIL, but the band will not be slowing down. In fact, they are currently packing their bags and gear to begin touring.

LACUNA COIL return to the road to introduce North America to 'BROKEN CROWN HALO' as part of the REVOLVER HOTTEST CHICKS IN HARD ROCK TOUR, which launches February 20 and features LACUNA COIL sharing a stage with SICK PUPPIES, Century Media Records labelmates EYES SET TO KILL, and CILVER. Joining LACUNA COIL on the Revolver HCIHR tour will be drummer Ryan Folden. Fans will already be familiar with Ryan, as he performed live with LACUNA COIL on the majority of the 2012 and 2013 'Dark Legacy' and 'Dark Adrenaline' tours.

'BROKEN CROWN HALO' is set for releases April 1, 2014 in North America (March 31 in Europe, Australia, New Zealand) on Century Media Records. The album is the band's seventh studio effort, and the highly-anticipated follow-up to 'Dark Adrenaline', which was released in January 2012 and saw the band tour with acts including Megadeth, Motorhead, Volbeat, Sevendust and Paradise Lost after debuting at No. 15 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

Fans can get a taste of 'BROKEN CROWN HALO' in the form of the album track "Nothing Stands In Our Way," recently released via the Century Media Records Soundcloud page:

LACUNA COIL have this to say about 'BROKEN CROWN HALO':

"What conflict could run so deep that it takes you to the deepest corners of your inner world? Today we are surrounded by a lot of lies, aliases, and people acting like they are wearing an invisible crown - but you better have thick skin if you want to wear this crown! 'BROKEN CROWN HALO' is a cinematic album that could be the soundtrack of our days - it is a dark vision of a near future when survival is second nature, and failure is not something to be avoided, but rather cultivated with lessons learned along the way.

We set the bar pretty high with 'Dark Adrenaline' and it hasn't been easy bringing our sound to the next level, but we have lived, learned and grown through a year full of personal issues and changes. We learned to be strong and get stronger, and we felt an inner vibe in this band that we haven't felt before. We locked ourselves in an age-old studio in Milan, Italy, where history was strong and the past met with our future, vintage gear and the influence of classic Italian horror movies and bands like Goblin meeting the fresh and rough sounds of the modern world with unique and invigorating results. 'BROKEN CROWN HALO' is Lacuna Coil introducing a new order, and letting nothing stand in our way..."

LACUNA COIL were joined in their native Italy by producer Jay Baumgardner [P.O.D., Sevendust, Evanescence, Papa Roach] and engineer Kyle Hoffmann [P.O.D., Bush, Zebrahead]. 'BROKEN CROWN HALO' was mastered by Howie Weinberg, whose credits include Rammstein, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Deftones and Sheryl Crow.

TERAMAZE RETURNS WITH THEIR 4TH FULL LENGTH ALBUM...

After completely grabbing the attention of the underground Thrash and Prog-Power Metal fans with their 2012 release “AnhedoniA.”  Teramazereturns with an even stronger offering that blends amazingly tight and speedy syncopated guitar/drum riffs and rhythms, with melodic hard vocals, for a very unique brand of metal. Creating a Testament & Tool meets Pantera & The Police in a dark  sci-fi video game vibe.  Teramaze burst out of Australia in 2012 and received well-deserved critical acclaim worldwide with their release “AnhedoniA”.
The album on Nightmare Records will be distributed by Sony/RED coming to the world APRIL 15th on TAX DAY!

A VIDEO TEASER IS AVAILABLE HERE!

Their music conjures such adjectives as, "Innovative", "Progressive" and "Groove-laden" but most notably, "Engaging".  Keeping the fundamental elements of metal alive, Teramaze pushes metal into un-chartered territory with guitar work that is incendiary with powerfully aggressive vocals that drive the song.

“Esoteric Symbolism screams at the men behind the curtain, shining a spotlight on the establishment in an attempt to share their secrets.”

For fans of Pantera, Tool, Metallica, Devin Townsend & Soilwork…but faster and more melodic.

(Think Dream Theater on steroids without the extended wankery)
Produced/Mixed by Dean Wells and mastered by Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Stuck Mojo).

Some Quotes on the album:
"Edgy melodic tunes with quality production all add up to a great modern prog/metal album. Excellent guitars, vocals, keyboards, drums, bass - not a weak link in the Teramaze chain! Highly recommended!" -Ted Kirkpatrick / Tourniquet

"Awesome. I love the songs, production is great and the guitars sounds incredibly tight. Love the instrumental opener, some cool voicings. Very modern and punchy. And the most important thing is that it sounds original. I'm definitely a fan."- Marco Sfogli- (James Labrie,Jordan Rudess,Virgil Donati)

RPWLWanted" can be pre-ordered at online shop starting with 17th February 2014

There will be 3 versions of "Wanted".

The standard version is a CD in a dig pack with a standard booklet.
The second one is the limited edition in a double digipack with an additional DVD: 5.1 Dolby surround, audio only, incl. bonus track and an additional poster booklet.

Last but not least a special audiophile 180 gram double vinyl with a more dynamic mastering.

The surround DVD in the limited edition is an audio only DVD video. Once again we wanted to give you the chance to listen to the music in 5.1 surround. The only visual content of the DVD is the menu. We decided to use Dolby digital (ac3) to make the DVD accessible to as many people as possible.

The story is a follow-up of our last album "Beyond Man And Time". We wanted to bring the main idea of the album, the ultimate liberation of the spirit that we call "Freedom of the Spirit", into our here and now. Imagine! We found the substance that takes you out of Plato's cave into the light, into a real world! Of course all religious and secular authorities are really upset by a well informed, open minded and enlightened mankind. So we take our last option in our fight for the self-determined human being: becoming illegal and going underground.
But we won't let you all down! Don't miss the show.

Be part of this special experience!

ANUBIS GATE to release "Horizons" April 15th on Nightmare Records.

Finally the eagerly anticipated sixth album of Danish Prog-Metallers Anubis Gate is on the Horizon. Their new album "Horizons" is unquestionably the bands most mature work to date. Combining their signature epic songwriting with the brilliant production team of Kim Olesen and Jacob Hansen yet again. Being released on Nightmare Records distributed by Sony/RED, release date is April 15th, 2014.

Anubis Gate hit the studio the summer of 2013 recording their new opus “Horizons” which is unmistakably Anubis Gate’s sound yet goes again to new places. Places perhaps one would call daring.  From the liquid grooves to uneven time signatures, trademark soundscapes and heavy, sometimes even thrash metal riffing you will know this is both in the tradition of the band yet breaks new ground. Anubis Gate blend 80’s melodic heavy rock, epic ambience and a contemporary dark layered progressive metal. Inspired by the likes of Savatage, Genesis, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, King Crimson, Iced Earth, Crimson Glory, Fates Warning, Lord Bane & Tad Morose yet always sounding completely unique.  New guitarist Michael Bodin’s heavy riffing works exceptionally well in a duel with long time guitarist Kim Olesen.  The forward driving drums, courtesy of new drummer Morten Gade Sørensen, are a treat in themselves. Henrik Fevres melodic vocals are even more amazing and heartfelt than ever before. “Horizons” showcases the band on it’s highest peak. Anubis Gate 2014 is: Henrik Fevre, Kim Olesen, Michael Bodin and Morten Gade Sørensen.

***The CD version will contain a hidden fan treasure not found on the digital sites.  There will be a CD-ROM EP recorded live in 2005, the EP includes 4 tracks and dedicated artwork.   The tracks are live versions of songs from their first two albums “Purification” and “A Perfect Forever”.

Walter Trout announces 25th Anniversary vinyl series

2014 is a very special year for Walter Trout. The acclaimed blues rock guitarist celebrates his 25th Anniversary as a solo artist.  Following many years playing in Canned Heat and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, 1989 was the year he struck out on his own and never looked back.

For a man whose previous lifestyle and former addictions made him a candidate for early self-destruction, he has since matured into one of the world’s premier exponents of blues rock.

In joyful celebration Provogue Records will be releasing ten of Walter’s back catalogue albums as Limited Edition Deluxe Vinyl Series. Being released throughout 2014, the high quality 180g vinyl editions will belimited to 2,000 copies per album (worldwide).  The albums will have a maximum of 20 minutes of music per side for enhanced sound quality.

"To have some of the best parts of my earlier recordings re-released and celebrated in high-quality audio, is a thrill of the highest order," says Trout. "I hope my friends and fans will enjoy this commemorative series as much as I will.  There is something about re-hearing the music on vinyl.  The warmth and the expansiveness of the sound takes me right back to the day it was recorded."

Uganga: watch new video clip "Guerra"

The song will appear on "Opressor", the band's new studio album

Manu "Joker" (vocal), Christian Franco (guitar), Thiago Soraggi
(guitar), Raphael "Ras" Franco (bass) and Marco Henriques (drums).
Collectively they are known as UGANGA. In Brazil, everybody who is
really into metal and hardcore knows them, and if you are in Europe
you also have a chance to have heard about the band. After all, these
five brazilian musicians are for 20 years on the road, have released
four albuns and completed two tours in Europe, besides countless shows
in Brazil.

When it was thought that the band would slow down, behold they do
announce the new studio album!

Titled "Opressor", the album was produced by the experienced Gustavo
Vazquez (Black Drawning Chalks, Macaco Bong, Krow, Hellbenders) and
will bring the following tracks "Guerra", "O Campo", "Veredas",
"Opressor", "Moleque de Pedra", "Casa", "L.F.T.", "Modus Vivendi",
"Nas Entranhas do Sol", "Aos Pés da Grande Árvore", "Noite", "Who Are
The True" (Vulcano cover) and "Guerreiro".

The release date of "Opressor" is not defined, but the album will
reach the stores still in the first semester of 2014.

In the meanwhile, on February 08th debuted on Play TV (a brazilian
music tv channel) the band's new video clip for the song "Guerra".

Directed by Eddie Shumway - that had already worked with the band on
previous videos - "Guerra" brings images shot in Poland, Slovenia and
Hungary.

"The idea of the video was to explore several conflicts of the human
history that unfortunatly was written with blood", explains the
frontman Manu Joker."We merged images of these events to others that
we shot in three different places in Europe. We filmed live scenes
playing at ShowBarlang Club in Budapest, Hungary, and others images in
Poland walking through the streets of Poznan, city where pratically
the second world war started. Last, but not least, we shot other
scenes at a cultural center in Maribor, Slovenia, where we found many
objects and sculptures related to the subject, like, for instance, a
police car studded with bullets that turned to be a garden or a peace
symbol made of AK 47 machine-guns".

Manu Joker also wishes to clarify that even though the images,
"Guerra" video clip does not make any kind of apologia and that the
lyrical context is more related to personal experiences.
"The idea of this lyric came from our inner struggles, our personal
wars. We all deal with that, every one in its own way. I think that
Eddie did a great job when translating this to the video and we are
really happy with the final result. I wish people could understand
what this lyric real means. Definitively is not about violence
apologia, but this depends on every one's perception to take its own
conclusions."

Imagery's debut album highlighted on North American Press

"The Inner Journey" was recently released in USA by Cleopatra Records
from Los Angeles

Rare are the cases of bands that can be successful just with the debut
album. Even more difficult for a band like Imagery that comes from the
countryside of Brazil and plays a kind of music that merges elements
from progressive rock, heavy metal and jazz, styles that are far from
being highlighted on media.

But as for every rule there is an exception, Imagery has surprised
even the most optimistic forecasts. After having won the Brazilian
press with its debut "The Inner Journey", now are the north-american
journalists that are falling in love with the band's full of
originality music.

With the recent and already announced signing of a distribution
agreement with U.S. label Cleopatra Records (Tangerine Dream,
Hawkwind, Nektar), "The Inner Journey" is gaining an amazing and
positive exposure in the U.S. press.

The site Critical Jazz, edited by the respected jazz critic Brent
Black declared on a review of the album that Imagery's "The Inner
Journey" is "an impressive start" and that the album brings a
"sophisticated hybrid of sound that could be described as Deep Purple
meets early Alan Holdsworth but they manage to carve out their own
unique sound". Black concludes the text also saying that Imagery is
"one of the few bands working the progressive rock side of the street
with the adaptability to keep the music fresh and invigorating".

Another who was full of praise for Imagery's "The Inner Journey" was
Marty Dodge from Seattle PI. "Jazz-tinged progressive metal goodness",
wrote the journalist that added: "The music ranges from merely
progressive rock to Rush-like cleverness, with even a hint of Hawkwind
and back... Well worth checking out for those with eclectic tastes".

JP's Music Blog, connected to the Record-Journal Newspaper Publishing
Company, also declared that Imagery plays "the perfect blend of
progressive metal music".

"The Inner Journey" is already for sale on several specialized Cds
stores in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Ziggy Stardust's ripped shirt in major exhibition

A major new exhibition of music memorabilia, featuring David Bowie’s rippedZiggy Stardust shirt, will take place in honour of the historic British music venue Aylesbury Friars from Monday March 1st.

Featuring rare memorabilia relating to David Bowie, Lou Reed, Genesis,The Ramones, Talking Heads, The Clash, Roxy Music and Queen, “The Evolution of Friars” music exhibition includes concert posters, original photographs, paraphernalia from Friars’ archives, and musical instruments and equipment used by some of the most prestigious names to pass through Friars’ doors.

The exhibition will be housed at the Buckinghamshire County Museum, read the full press release HERE.

Friars’ most memorable night took place on January 29th 1972, when David Bowie chose the venue to perform as Ziggy Stardust for the very first time.

The birthplace of one of the UK’s most culturally significant icons, a section of Stardust’s satin sequined shirt, which was ripped-off by overzealous fans during the concert, will be on show at the exhibition. Vivian Symonds, one such fan who managed to come away with a piece of Bowie’s shirt, will be at the opening night of the exhibition. Ms Symonds is also available for interview.

David Stopps (who is also available for interview) a British music industry veteran, who founded Friars in 1969, is renowned for bringing some of the biggest artists in music history to the venue long before they enjoyed mainstream success. “I have been hoping to present a major exhibition at Friar’s for years, “enthuses Stopps.  “It’s finally going to happen. It’s a huge undertaking.”

DEVA is back with a new album Titled as "Murther"

The original 5 piece line-up of the band has been dismantled for several reasons and only guitarist and composer Federico Salerno and opera singer Beatrice Palumbo are now the core of the band around which there’s a huge number of musicians keen to be part of the project.

Back to the origin, Deva released their self produced debut album “Between Life And Dreams” in early 2010.

The album was released in Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia and CIS, UK, South Korea, Hungary,  but generated interest in several other countries.

In fact, the promotional activity took them to receive more than 100 international reviews and a big number of these, considered them “the future of gothic metal”, “one of the more innovative bands in gothic metal”, “sublime”, etc. etc.

Through the years, the internal balance was somehow jeopardized by a different approach on which direction Deva’s music should have been leading the band and these differences also consisted in the maturity and musical growth of some of the band’s members: Federico Salerno and Beatrice Palumbo.

Both spend their lives deeply absorbed by music, so that Federico also writes music manuals and Beatrice is also active with her opera background.

At the time the first new tracks were written, it was evident that they needed to proceed on a different path compared to the other band members, hence the decision to go ahead as a duo.

The writing, arranging and production of “Murther”, the new album, took time due to the complexity of the project, which is not just a complicated concept album in terms of story, but also a more than stratified music composition, a mixed variety of genres, real orchestra arrangements, which led to something innovative: a combination of gothic, progressive, epic, symphonic and classic metal, stunningly interpreted by Deva and the great variety of musicians who accepted to be part of it.

To depict the project here some key sentences used on the teaser:

“XV Century”
“An ancient story: Madness, Superstition, Tragedy, Insanity, Sacrifice, Prosecution. Sentence”
“Will there be salvation?”
“The Goddess had announced it”
“The storm is coming”

Among them, it makes sense to highlight the contribution of Federico Paulovich (drums), Tony Corizia (Bass guitar) and Maria Pia Abate (Violin) who played on most of the songs included on the album, but the list is really long and all of the musicians deserve an applause for their support to the project.

“Murther” will be released on the 25th of February 2014 on RNC Music, with the following track list:

Can I Be Saved
Come To Me
Is This What We Really Are
Delirium
Decadence
What Have I Become
Awareness Suddenly
Lady Of Time
My Sweetest Pain
Something Beautiful
Confession
Remembrance
Lullaby
Dust And Shadows
Lilith

Missing Persons' Dale Bozzio Premieres Stunning New Single From The Long Awaited Comeback Album Missing In Action!

Los Angeles, CA - She is one of the most recognizable singers to come out of the ‘80s art rock movement, A true original whose signature vocal style was matched only by her iconic outfits that set the standard for flamboyant fashion in rock music. Now, Missing Persons’ Dale Bozzio returns with a brand new album that critic Dave Thompson describes as “like waking up in a sleeping bag full of your favorite MTV memories. The ‘80s as they always wanted to sound!” The album, Missing In Action, will be released on March 4th on both CD & Vinyl by Cleopatra Records but fans can check out the album’s first single “Hello, Hello,” which is making its premiere on USAToday.com accompanied by a scrapbook video as well as an in-depth interview with Dale.

Check out the new single here:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/music/2014/02/14/missing-persons-dale-bozzio-hello-hello-song-premiere/5485557/

The single is also available as an “instant gratification” track on the album’s iTunes pre-order: http://georiot.co/22B5

Missing In Action is a much welcomed return to the catchy songs and danceable beats, laced with a progressive rock aesthetic that always set Missing Persons apart from the pack. The 10-song set was expertly produced by the multi-talented Billy Sherwood (formerly of prog rock institution Yes) who worked closely with Dale to craft an album that can stand alongside the Missing Persons catalog while still showcasing Dale’s growth as both a performer and a person. “Do Or Die” kicks things off with an urgent keyboard riff and a dramatic vocal performance from Dale, proving that her voice remains as strong as ever. Next, the propulsive, driving beat of tracks like “Walk Into The Sun,” and “Speed Of Light” keep the energy riding high. But the album’s true centerpiece is an emotional ballad, “The More We Love,” which Dale recorded just days after her mother passed away, and contains perhaps the most moving performance of Dale’s long, historic career. This is the album that Missing Persons fans and dedicated Dale Bozzio disciples have been waiting for, for over two decades! Don’t miss it!

SupreMa announces new official video

SupreMa has been demonstrating to be one of the bands with the highest activity in Brazil and after the release of the new album "Traumatic Scenes" in Brazil, Europe, USA and Japan (via Power Prog) and receiving high scores in reviews around the world, the band announces officially the production of their new video.

The chosen song is "Fury and Rage" and the production, screenplay, shooting, edition and post production are being done by renowed film producing company Nevasca Filmes, who have worked and had some of their members involved with some of the biggest productions and artists in Brazil such as Naldo Benny ("Caipifruta" official video), João Neto & Frederico (DVD), Cine, girlband Girls (Fábrica de Estrelas, Rick Bonadio), Micael Borges, Manu Gavassi, The Vampire Diaries (RTA Global) and "Pânico na TV" TV show (RedeTV and Band).

Filming took place during the months of June and November 2013 in two emblematic Brazilian cities called Joanopolis and Paranapiacaba.

For the shooting producers used all the same technological devices used in cinema productions from crane to 5D lenses Carl Zeiss 28mm which made the new SupreMa's video clip turn into a real film production in the form of a short film.

"I'm still enjoying this new video from SupreMa. On "Nightmare" video we wanted closed frames and show the band most of the time to present our new sound and style, but on "Fury and Rage" the proposal is totally different. The lyrics are really strong and the screenplay written by Nevasca Filmes at first shocked me, the character in this video suffers a possession and there are some scenes really outstanding and intense. We did everything calmly from the selection of the actress, make up, scenario and every scene of this video, and the locations that are amazing cities with enigmatic landscapes. This was the biggest SupreMa's production ever done and the story is a short film inserted inside of a band video." says guitarist Douglas Jen.

On the screenplay, "Serena", performed by actress Mayra Oliveira, is a regular young woman that is tormented all the time by something that she doesn't know what it is. In the middle of the story after trying to escape, she falls down inside a surreal world and she is possessed by the being who plays with her body, feelings and torments her. Inside this fight"Serena" wants to end this insane game of fury between these two worlds.

The "Fury and Rage" video has no release date scheduled yet and is in the process of editing and post production.

SupreMa promises to post images of the making of and a teaser shortly. Stay tuned to the SupreMa website and their official Facebook's page where all the information will be posted.

Mexican Alternative Rock Band Reacta Readies the Release of their Debut Album Refraction, in the USA and Worldwide on February 11th, 2014

San Francisco, CA – Alaric Records is pleased to announce the national release of Refraction, the debut full-length album by Reacta on February 11th, 2014. This release features 10 new Alternative Rock and Indie Pop songs. This is the first worldwide official release by Reacta on US based Alaric Records.

Reacta is Mexican Alternative Rock Powerhouse and has spent the last two years becoming a local sensation in their hometown of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Beginning as an instrumental band, Reacta took off when they combined their wall of sound fusion with American troubadourWilliam Merritt Hendricks. Their debut album Refraction was born in the “La felicidad se encurntra en la simplicidad de las cosas” culture of Aguascalientes, Mexico which translates to ‘Happiness lays upon simplicity.’ The album is an exploration into the power that can be derived from reveling in simple emotions. Their sound is strong mix of Incubus, The Killers, andExplosions in the Sky.

Alaric Records CEO Devon Luongo discovered Reacta on a surfing trip to Puerto Escondido, where he met guitarist Chencho Gutierrez on the beach, donning his iconic vest, flanked by two beautiful Spanish women, drinking a Pacifico. “I was immediately drawn to the authenticity of his thrift store appearance, and the calm, cool demeanor that you can only find in people whose happiness is not derived from wealth.” The lifestyle that they live, the culture that they embody, is so intoxicating because it is based in freedom and love, not power and status. The amalgamation of ideas and perspectives accrued through each band members various vagabond journeys really comes across in their music. There is almost a voyeuristic pleasure in listening toRefraction, knowing this album was written for their devoted fan base in Aguascalientes with no intention of ever reaching a mainstream audience. Even just a few years ago, producing an album of this quality in Aguascalientes would have been impossible. Today, modern music technology has leveled the playing field and given this group of small town travelers a voice that is reaching farther than their boots and purse strings could ever take them.

Despite it’s small town vibe, sonically the album is extremely commercial. It is relatable, easy to listen to, and licensable. It is the kind of Alternative/Alt Pop that you would find on US TV shows like Friday Night Lights or Grey’s Anatomy. Winning a top spot onGoodmusicalldays.com charts in August 2013, Reacta has already demonstrated that the demand for their music exists in the global market. In 2012, Reacta opened for Little Dragon at the Cuartel del Arte en la Feria Nacional de San Marcos.

The worldwide street date is set for February 11th 2014, and Alaric Records is putting together a campaign to bring Refraction into the American and European music markets. A short west coast tour will follow in April 2014, shortly after the album’s release.
Alaric Records is a new lean record label built for the 21st century.
Alaric Media has built a new business model for record labels that embraces monetizing the experience of music, not just the intellectual property of music. Embracing new business models is allowing Alaric to find stability in an otherwise tumultuous time. Alaric plans to release EDM/Singer-Songwriter Aria Knight’s debut album in March of 2014.
