Missing Persons Featuring Dale Bozzio Return To The Stage For Two Exclusive SoCal Engagements!

After a long absence from the music scene, Missing Persons featuring
original vocalist Dale Bozzio will return to the Southern California
stage for two special concerts at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach on
January 10 and at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano on January
19. Such memorable hits as "Words," "Destination Unknown," and
"Walking In L.A." made Missing Persons a household name in the '80s
and a staple of early MTV thanks in part to the cutting edge fashion
statements of Bozzio. With her unforgettable pink streaked hair,
fishbowl bra and bubblewrap jacket, Bozzio would become an iconic
figure of rock fashion, the original glam diva, inspiring the likes of
Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Lady GaGa, and others! Her vocal style too
became a unique signifier of the band's music, and her voice remains
as strong today as it was then!

These two exclusive performances are an exciting prelude to the
release of the first studio album of new material to bear the Missing
Persons name in over 25 years! The album, titled appropriately enough
Missing In Action, was produced by Billy Sherwood and will be released
on Cleopatra Records, March 4. Sherwood, whose recent work on the solo
album of Star Trek actor William Shatner thrust Sherwood into the
national spotlight, composed the album alongside Bozzio and brought a
modern twist to the classic Missing Persons's sound for what is sure
to be one of the most talked about comeback records of the year. A
record release party is planned and a nationwide tour will launch
later in March!

1. Do Or Die
2. Hello, Hello
3. Walk Into The Sun

KERRS PINK - "Mystic Spirit"
Kerrs Pink launches this fall's their 6th album: "Mystic Spirit" which is in the genre of 70's prog rock spiced with elements of Norwegian folk tunes. As in previous productions the sound is characterized by guitars, but this time they´ve also applied flute, tuba, timpani and accordion! And extensively, the legendary keyboard instruments: MiniMoog, Mellotron, Taurus bass pedals not to mention the Hammond C3. New is also the vocalist Eirikur Hauksson gratifying agreed to participate in the project. He puts his unmistakable rock imprint on the album that otherwise has taken a long time to complete. Eirikur also appears with Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep) and Magic Pie. Drums and bass are recorded "live in studio", which means that the band sounds far more lively than previous productions. The album is partially recorded and entirely mixed in Rainbow Live studio, Askim with Per Langsholt behind the controls. In addition, the band made several recordings in Velvet Recording, Spydeberg like the guys in the band think is world class! So there is a 100% "Inner Oestfold" production Kerrs Pink proudly presents this time!

SPIRES - "Spiral of Ascension"
Spires are a four piece Progressive Metal band, based in Manchester, UK. Initially the brainchild of vocalist, guitarist and producer Paul Sadler, he was later joined by the virtuosic Paul Cuthbert on guitar (ex Nailed/Sermon of Hypocrisy), Alex Jolley on bass, and Chris Barnard on drums. This line-up has remained stable since early 2008. Musically, comparisons are often made to Opeth, Emperor, Mastodon and Cynic; however this barely touches on the kaleidoscope of influences, both metal and otherwise, that combine to deliver a truly original, mesmerising and often transcendental sound. Spires combine technicality and intricate musicianship with a flare for song-writing that never loses touch of what music should be about, and helps the songs flow seamlessly as they progress.

JONAS LINDBERG & THE OTHER SIDE
The Other Side is a progressive rock/AOR project from Stockholm, Sweden started in 2012 by bass player and producer Jonas Lindberg, featuring some very talented friends and musicians. The music has been described as a crossing between Pink Floyd and Sting. It started back in 2008 when a first EP "In Secret Pace" was recorded, and a first live performance by Jonas Lindberg & The Other Side took place early 2009. The first CD featured a large number of musicians and when time came to record a second EP Jonas decided to do it with a 5 piece band. The name "The Other Side" didn't surface until the release of the second EP in 2013 when a more permanent band name was needed. The new EP, entitled "The Other Side" was released by Jonas's own label "ModeMusic" in september 2013.

As you will all know we've been around for some time, long enough to tell some sorry stories about being hitched to record companies over the past quarter century. As we were writing and starting to record the next album we made the decision to became our own cottage industry and not have to fit in with other peoples' ideas of who we are. We are Pallas and we are who we are - that's where the album title comes from!

There is one thing however that a record company is good for and that's the advance which goes towards the recording budget. This is where you come in:-

As you can hear and see from the campaign video on You Tube:- wearewhoweare trailer videothings are sounding good already so we're not asking you to contribute to something that hasn't been started yet, were just needing help in completing the album, releasing it and getting some exciting videos done if we can surpass the initial target.

We have written the songs, we have licenced the artwork, we have started recording and have more than the bare bones of all the tracks, but studio bills have to be paid, the mixdown has to be done and the special edition digibook has to be manufactured!

So like many other bands including Spocks Beard and Marillion we have embarked on a 'Crowd Funding' campaign using the Indiegogo platform.

By contributing to this campaign you can look at it as pre-ordering an album directly from its makers rather than going through a series of middle men. Not only that we have a series of unique special perks, ranging from a secret download track at £2 to record a track with the band at £1,000 and including getting your name or photograph in the digibook artwork.

Frequency Drift new album "Over" can be preordered now!

The harp, the cello, the violin, the flute, the gemshorn – and all that in a rock band? Really? Yes! On their new album Frequency Drift merge influences as diverse as Pink Floyd, Renaissance and film music in fascinating fashion: cinematic progressive rock. Sounds interesting? That's because it is!

Founded in 2007 by keyboarder and mastermind Andreas Hack, Bayreuth-based Frequency Drift now present their fifth studio album Over. When compared to its critically acclaimed predecessors the record shows tremendous progress – yet again. More than ever the instruments are in the center of attention and, in addition to the abovementioned variety, this time there are instrumental exotics such as the duclar, a tin whistle, different harps, a marimba and a wavedrum. Thus Frequency Drift enter an entirely new dimension within the rock-context, elegantly avoid the pitfalls of cliché of the genre and finally create a musical mixture that holds something for everybody, ranging from prog-fans via lovers of world music all the way to listeners of classical works.

This love of experimenting also becomes evident in the fact that, opposed to general customs, the band decided to not have only one single voice on the record. Frequency Drift rather went with a different plan. With the spectacular shooting star Isa Fallenbacher, who appears on the majority of the songs, as well as the jazz-trained Agathe Labus there are no less than two singers that perform the lyrics that function as the listeners' keywords – while still leaving space for interpretation.

As regards content, especially, the fifth album of the southern Germans has an almost unprecedented depth to offer. The band deals with the area of tension between idyll and decay and in that forward set course fusions the urban and cold sounds of the Personal Effects Pt. 1 & Pt. 2 records from the early days of Frequency Drift with the warm and more organic sounds of the recent records Ghosts and Laid to Rest. Held together by an ever larger harmonic and rhythmic variety, a fascinating masterpiece comes together that is perfected by the cover pictures of Alina Rudya. The work of the Ukrainian shows the photographer's hometown of Pripyat that has been abandoned since the Chernobyl disaster and where nature continues to make its way – despite all existence-threatening conditions. Corresponding to those aesthetics Frequency Drift, through their soundscapes, create a surreal atmosphere of loss, decay, abandonment but also liberation. The fact that the generous use of effects often leads to space-ish sounds only adds further to that impression.

By always pursuing the extraordinary in terms of both the arrangements as well as the selection of instruments, Frequency Drift establish their very own style to which they furthermore add numerous innovations and that they continue to follow consequently on Over. Here the love of experimenting becomes the concept. Sibylle Friz (cello), Andreas Hack (keyboards), Christian Hack (guitar, flute, duclar, wavedrum), Jasper Jöris (gemshorn, marimba), Ulrike Reichel (violin, viola), Tino Schmidt (bass) and Nerissa Schwarz (co-songwriter, acoustic and electric harp) have established a wonderfully fruitful collaboration with RPWL's Yogi Lang (sound mixing) for this impressive piece of music. With guitar virtuoso Martin Schnella (Flaming Row), Kalle Wallner (RPWL, bass) and drummer Phil Paul Rissettio (Ex-RPWL) three guest musicians have followed Frequency Drift's call and contributed to what amounts to a truly exceptional artistic experience.

Frequency Drift "Over" contains 12 songs:
1. Run 7.05
2. Once 6.06
3. Adrift 4.39
4. Them 7.52
5. Sagittarius A* 5.50
6. Suspended 8.28
7. Wave 5.42
8. Wander 5.33
9. Driven 4.54
10. Release 6.47
11. Memory 10.00
12. Disappeared 4.22

MORGANATICS - "Never Be Part Of Your World "
The story of the Morganatics is all about alchemy. At a human level, the band is first formed by a core with Nico (drums), Chris (vocals) and Sebastien (vocals and rhythm guitar). Then 2 free electrons (Mark on the bass and Lauris on lead guitar) came to create the perfect formula for a strong structure. The members of this Parisian group are bound by a common goal – making this project, the project of their lives, even if it means sacrificing everything for it since The Morganatics is not just a musical genre, it is a way of life. Finally, with Bill (co-vocalist for Enhancer) and the Ongaku Studio, all the elements could be fused together and bring the band to life. This alchemy is also a musical one. Taking rock music as a starting point, the group's members have created an alternative album for M&O Music (an independent French label), which is both intense and melodic. Sebastien's powerful lyrics, allow the personality of each to reveal itself through the melancholy and sensual image of the group. If the sound of The Morganatics manages to enter those yet to explore areas of Rock, then the human and musical experiment (as the band wishes to develop around the human aspect rather than around a musical genre) will be achieved.

OVRFWRD - "Beyond the Visible Light"
"OVRFWRD" is a four piece all instrumental rock band formed in late 2012. Born out of equal parts fate, and happenstance. Drummer Rikki Davenport and guitarist Mark Ilaug talked many times throughout the years about creating an instrumental band, like they had done in the beginning of their musical quest many years before. When the singer of their band failed to make a recording date in the summer of 2012, that sealed the deal. With bassist Kyle Lund on board, and the addition of keyboardist Chris Malmgren, the new band entered the studio to record their first composition "Raviji". A musical tapestry of sound. Exploring the light, the dark, the heavy and the silence. The music of OVRFWRD has been described as a cinematic journey, requiring attentive ears and patient listening. Their debut album "Beyond the Visible Light" is due out fall 2013.

SWEET CRYSTAL - "Some People May Ask"
Winners of the 2011/2012/2013 DMA For Outstanding Gospel/Christian Act Sweet Crystal is a very rare group of musicians. Not only has the band remained in existence for an impressive 39 years, but also the core trio of Marq Speck (lead vocals, keyboards), Bill Blatter (guitar, vocals) and Steve Wieser (drums) has remained intact for the entirety of that time. That's a lifetime of quality hard, progressive rock music; of honing their skills as musicians and artists and generating a respectable fan base. Perhaps most importantly, a continuing quest refining their sound and standing on the front lines of the Michigan Christian rock scene, even before that particular branch of music had a name. Sweet Crystal was formed in the winter of '71/'72, as the three young men were leaving high school and choosing their individual life-paths. As it happens, they were destined to spend the next four decades together, and Sweet Crystal would spend the '80s opening for bands as diverse as Bob Seger, Nazareth, Steppenwolf, Foghat, Rare Earth and Stryper.

Gonzo Multimedia To Release Rare CDs By UK Prog-Fusion Legends Brand X and Bass Icon Percy Jones

Although typically considered an off-shoot band for Genesis legend Phil Collins, UK prog-fusion group Brand X was much more than that. Featuring several virtuosic musicians (as well as Collins), Brand X took the genre of fusion to a whole new level of expertise. Along with Collins on drums, the band featured Percy Jones (bass), John Goodsall (guitar) Robin Lumley (keyboards), and Morris Pert (percussion), with sometimes Mike Clark, Kenward Dennard (drums), and John Giblin (bass). Active from 1975-1980, Brand X was another one of those bands who were beloved by other musicians, and the more discerning critics, but despite everything never had the commercial success they deserved. The band released several critically acclaimed albums on the Charisma label in the UK and Passport label in the US, including 'Unorthodox Behaviour', 'Moroccan Roll', 'Livestock' and 'Product'. Now much to the excitement of Brand X fans and fusion music fans worldwide, Gonzo Multimedia is releasing 3 rare Brand X titles on CD (Missing Period, Live At The Roxy LA 1979, Is There Anything About?), as well as bassist Percy Jones' hard to find solo offering from 1989 'Cape Catastrophe'.

Says Percy Jones, "I'm really happy that Gonzo is releasing this stuff. It was recorded over 25 years ago, so it's great that it's still available to anyone who is interested."

Brand X - "Missing Period': This album represents the earliest known recordings of Brand X circa 1975-76. Recorded shortly before the group's debut album 'Unorthodox Behaviour', the source tapes for this material were recently recovered by John Goodsall from family members in England, who presented John with a box containing all sorts of Brand X memorabilia. At the bottom of the box were some old reels of tape of unknown origin. Upon review John and Percy realized that they had uncovered a long lost treasure – excellent quality recordings of Brand X's classic lineup performing previously unreleased material. This documents a period of the band's history which has been missing for over 20 years.

Tracks: 1. Dead Pretty, 2. Kugelblitz, 3. Ancient Mysteries, 4. Why Won't You Lend Me Yours?. 5. Miserable Virgin, 6. Tito's Leg

To purchase Brand X – 'Missing Period' CD:

Brand X – 'Live At The Roxy LA 1979': Recorded at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, September 23, 1979 shortly after the release of 'Product'. This is a previously unreleased soundboard recording of Brand X captured live at the peak of the band's career.

Tracks: 1. Disco Suicide (intro) Algon, 2. Dance Of The Illegal Aliens, 3. Don't Make Waves, 4. Malaga Vergen, 5. ...And So To F..., 6. Nuclear Burn

To purchase Brand X 'Live At The Roxy LA 1979' CD:

Brand X – 'Is There Anything About?': Not long after Brand X released their 1980 album 'Do They Hurt?', the band members went their separate ways (until their comeback in 1992 which only featured Goodsall and Jones). However, they still owed their record label one more album. The solution? Release a rarities album! The problem was that there was very little unreleased material in the vaults – about three or four tracks at the most. But with a little doctoring and remixing of tapes, keyboardist Robin Lumley extended that number to six tracks and the label released Brand X's appropriately-titled collection 'Is There Anything About?' in 1982.

Says Gonzo Magazine's Jon Downes, "It is the last album to feature Phil Collins on drums and includes some absolutely gorgeous slices of Brand X at their very best. This is a peculiar album; at the time many critics panned it, often because it didn't sound anything like the anodyne pop music that Phil Collins was making elsewhere in his career. However, in my opinion and that of thousands of fans worldwide it acts as a satisfying coda to a body of work which has very few parallels in the world of jazz fusion."

Tracks: 1. Ipanaemia, 2. A Longer April, 3. Modern, Noisy and Effective, 4. Swan Song, 5. Is There Anything About?, 6. Tmiu-Atga

To purchase Brand X 'Is There Anything About' CD:

Percy Jones – 'Cape Catastrophe': Several years after the release of Brand X's final album 'Is There Anything About?', bassist Percy Jones moved to New York City and began infiltrating the music scene there. He recorded 'Cape Catastrophe' in 1988/89 at a studio in East Harlem. Using an array of hardware and instruments available at the time, including a Casio synthesizer, Roland sequencer. Yamaha drum machine and Korg digital delay, Percy recorded a several tracks ranging in length from 2-and-a half minute to 23minutes.

Says music writer Dave Lynch, "There is certainly a lot here for electric bass-aholics to enjoy: Jones' burbles, pops, and plonks are all here, and his tone on sustained notes is rich with harmonic overtones as expected. But the music through which the bass slips and slides is often more like twisted instrumental techno-funk than fusion, along with ominous electronic textures that sometimes sound like an ethereal chorus or gruff, agitated shouts distorted beyond recognition." Gonzo Magazine's Jon Downes adds, "Jones composed everything on the album himself, except for the closing number. The album is a peculiar, though satisfying mix of jazz fusion and electronica, and is another one of those classic albums that slipped through the cracks at the time, which is just unfair."

Tracks: 1. The Lie, 2. Cape Catastrophe, 3. Slick, 4. Hex, 5. Barrio, 6. Tunnels, 7. Thin Line, 8. Symphony In F Major

Brazilian Prog Ensemble IMAGERY Release Debut CD 'The Inner Journey'

From the earliest days of human thought, the theme of Duality has been widely debated among philosophers, scientists and spiritual seekers. The ambiguity of the concept still serves as inspiration for endless artistic musings about love and hate, life and death, happiness and sadness. The Brazilian progressive rock/metal band IMAGERY follows these endless seas of intellectual thought to trace their musical identity, personified by the debut album, 'The Inner Journey' released in the U.S. by powerhouse metal label Deadline Music.

Formed in 2008 by Joceir Bertoni (vocal/guitar), Ricardo Fanucchi (bass) and Luciano Neves (drums), IMAGERY was born from the ashes of the bands G.A.F. and Revolt, two groups from the city of Londrina, Parana state. From its inception, IMAGERY had a dual character, combining classic prog rock and metal. The uniting of these two disparate genres was no easy feat. After all, if progressive rock is emotional, heavy metal is visceral; if prog rock is technique, heavy metal is attitude; if prog rock is sensibility, heavy metal is aggressiveness.

And it was in transmuting these opposites – sometimes conflicting, sometimes complementary – that IMAGERY came upon their unique sound. Recorded at PlayRecPause Studios in Londrina under the experienced production talent of Julio Anizelli (Mamaquilla, Terra Celta, Lixo Extraordinário), 'The Inner Journey' brings eight tracks that not only extol the technical ability of the musicians, but, above all, the quality of the band's compositions.

"Fourth Secret" is a perfect prelude and shows the different faces of this dynamic album. The second song, "Imagery," doesn't take the name of the band in vain; it is the band's fingerprint and shows some of their core characteristics, like the absence of compositional patterns. Over the course of nearly six minutes, the song almost doesn't repeat itself, marking an unreturnable journey through different environments and sonic textures.

Carl Gustav Jung might say that "Perception" is the archetype of progressive metal. However, when IMAGERY play prog metal, they sound like no other band from this style. In this same track it's possible to notice the strong influence of jazz, classical and even Brazilian bossa nova.

Musically, "Start The War" offers a stunning deconstruction of its titular theme, passing from thrash metal riffs to an atonal style. "The Rain" keeps the heaviness in evidence, but never in a minimalist or cheap way. In the musical universe of IMAGERY, nothing is predictable. "Show Me" is an invitation to see the beauty of introspection. Indeed, this song synthesizes the title and the central concept of the album's lyrics that are all based on personal reflections of the musicians.

Joceir Bertoni also shows that he is a consummate vocalist. His unique timbre has an important impact on the musical personality of IMAGERY as a whole. With "Stranger" IMAGERY shows how it's possible to build a heavy metal composition using the main characteristics of this musical genre without sounding cliché. Strategically, "Last" closes the album, and just like "Imagery", the song embodies the main characteristics of IMAGERY. It doesn't repeat, but even so it sticks in the mind for hours. "Last" was released as a digital single before the physical release of 'The Inner Journey' – along with the other digital single "Perception".

The pre-release party of 'The Inner Journey' happened during a historical gig in March of 2012 at Pedreira do Icatu in Votorantim, Sao Paulo state, aside the worldwide progressive legend, FOCUS. More than 3 thousand people attended the event, making it one of the biggest shows of the band's career – up there with the "Prog Union Tour" that IMAGERY did in 2009 with the veteran progressive band Apocalypse.

PROGRESSIVE ROCK & PROGRESSIVE METAL - E-ZINE - Recommends

THE BLACK NOODLE PROJECT - "Ghosts & Memories"
The Black Noodle Project was rooted in 2001 and started as a one man project with Jérémie Grima as the brainchild. He was born in the suburbof Paris and was to record personal musical wishes totally disconnected from a band inspiration. After a few months of searches some trackscame out. In the middle of 2002, The Black Noodle Project started to become a genuine band. Jérémie created songs and songs until proposinga demonstration full of 11 tracks. Against all odds, some labels ovated the album "Dark Smiles". It finally landed on the desk of a French labelMusea Records which propose to manage the distribution on the French market in 2003. The influences of Black Noodle Project are Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater.

About SAMUEL ANDREYEV
Samuel Andreyev is an Ontario-born singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose musical expression, described by the New York Times as "Haunting," has taken many forms-from inventive solo song cycles recorded in living rooms and garages, to instrumental compositions commissioned and performed by some of the world's most acclaimed ensembles. His new album The Tubular West is the culmination of eighteen years of "musical adventure"-a description given by Van Dyke Parks to Andreyev's first Torpor Vigil Records release Swollows, but which could suitably apply to his entire output. Having recorded eight self-produced albums of original songs by the age of twenty-one-as well as performing numerous memorable shows with his Trosper Ensemble-Samuel embarked upon an ambitious international career as a composer. After attaining a masters degree in composition at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), he was awarded first prize in the Henri Dutilleux competition in 2012, as well as artistic residencies in Madrid and Tours (France). These and many other achievements have served to further inform and propel his unique pop sensibility, vibrantly reasserted with the release of his category-defying Tubular West album.

New Live Video Released by Pontus Gunve

It's the Third in a Series of New Videos Released

December 10th, 2013, New York, New York – Pontus H. W. Gunve is
planning to feature three live videos. The first two of those ("Kraken
& Cavalry of Camels" and "Felix") have been out for about a little
while. The third (ironically entitled "Number 5") is also out now.
Although the videos are a tie-in to Gunve's new live EP, Live in New
York, "Number 5" was not included on that EP and is therefore
essentially a bonus.

NYC-based guitarist, composer and technologist Pontus Gunve's music
embraces the theory that music is a multi-dimensional experience and
an adventure in wordless storytelling that fully absorbs the audience.
Flowing through time and space, the sonic textures he creates evoke
the ethereal landscapes of other-worldly multi-media artists like Jean
Michel Jarre and Boards of Canada while still clearly inspired by the
thick, dark compositional textures of legendary heavy metal bands like
Megadeth.

Gunve was first fully gripped by his passion for music when he saw
Jean Michel Jarre's Rendezvous Houston: A City in Concert on
television as a child growing up in Sweden. Blown away by Jarre's
all-encompassing high-tech stage show and the endless layers of his
album Oxygene, Gunve began to explore the capabilities of computers to
create different sounds and textures. His fascination with rock music
led him to electric guitar, which he began to study voraciously,
simultaneously imagining ways to expand its boundaries. At the same
time, he experimented with sequencing and learned how to build
computer and synthesizer modules that could be used practically during
performances and on recordings.

Of the EP, Larry Toering said at Mr. Music Chronicles, "I recommend
everything you can get your hands on by this progressive rock artist,
as well as this new live offering…I'm particularly impressed with how
well the songs stick to their original path but express so much more
in the process. The amount of guitar and keyboard prowess on display
is indeed remarkable, as usual. But the live feel does surpass what's
been done in the studio, proving Pontus to be not only a great writer,
recorder and arranger, but a spectacular performer as well." In a
review at Music Street Journal Jason Hillenburg said of the EP,
"Pontus H.W. Gunve's new live EP challenges, invigorates, and
inspires. The fusion of classical and rock influences merges into a
dynamic sonic powerhouse. When placed in a live setting, these
qualities become even more apparent and, frankly, outstrip their
studio counterparts. There is passion in the playing that leaves any
accusations of inaccessibility in the dust - this is not mathematical,
bloodless, and intellectual music." Don't take their word for it,
though, check it out at

G4 Experience with Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons & Mike Keneally August 11-15 at Cambria Pines Lodge on California's Scenic Central Coast

DREAMCATCHER EVENTS PRESENTS

THE G4 EXPERIENCE

WITH JOE SATRIANI, PAUL GILBERT,

ANDY TIMMONS AND MIKE KENEALLY

AUGUST 11-15, 2014 AT CAMBRIA PINES LODGE
IN CALIFORNIA'S SCENIC CENTRAL COAST AREA

From August 11-15, 2014, musicians of all ages and levels will converge in California's scenic Central Coast for the G4 Experience with guitar virtuosos Joe Satriani,Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, and Mike Keneally. This unique music camp that combines entertainment, education and a vacation experience will be held at the picturesque Cambria Pines Lodge in Cambria, California, halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Produced by Dreamcatcher Events, the G4 Experience (http://g4experience.com) is an extension of the G3 tour, a concert tour Satriani organizes that features him alongside two other well-known guitarists. "In 1996 I wanted to find a way to work with the guitar players I respected and we launched the first G3 tour," explains Satriani. "Since then I have enjoyed countless hours playing and 'experiencing' the amazing talents of my peers. The G4 Experience is my chance to expand on the G3 idea. I've invited my friends Paul Gilbert, Mike Keneally and Andy Timmons. I know these guys can play amazing guitar and I want them to share that knowledge with the campers and with me!"

The event will kick off Monday, August 11 with a meet and greet with Joe, Paul, Andy, Mike and G4 Experience guests, which will be followed by a live performance fromJoe Satriani and Paul Gilbert that evening. Both Joe and Paul will offer daily master classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, while there will be breakout sessions with Andy and Mike. Evenings will feature live performances and once-in-a-lifetime jam sessions where instructors and guests can collaborate. Paul Gilbertcalls the experience "fuel for the musical soul" and Joe Satriani feels the event offers guests "a chance to improve their skills, meet like minded players and be inspired." "I hope to explore new facets of the instrument, meet some cool new players and make some great guitar music," he continues.

The intimate G4 Experience is available for a maximum of 175 attendees. The event size is limited so every guest will have the opportunity to spend time with each of the featured artists. "There are star performers at the camp, but this is much more than a handshake and a photo," says Gilbert. "We have enough time to relax and hang out. And you'll get plenty of concrete guitar ideas, and inspiring memories to take home."

Tickets for the G4 Experience are on sale now at http://g4experience.com. Admission includes lodging, meals, master classes, breakout sessions, live performances and jam sessions. Every attendee will also receive a welcome kit with items including Joe Satriani and Paul Gilbert guitar picks, an Ibanez guitar strap, and a commemorative G4 Experience poster.

As an added bonus, the first 100 people to register for the event will receive an Ibanez RG electric guitar courtesy of Hoshino. Each guitar will be signed by Satriani,Gilbert, Timmons and Keneally.

Featured musician/instructor Paul Gilbert elaborates on one of his favorite parts of hosting a camp like this: "I set up a massive jam session where I can play with every single person at the camp. I have everyone form a line, and have a guitar tech ready to help each person get plugged in, so when it's their turn, they can start rocking with no distractions. When everyone is ready, I start a groove going, and give each person a few chances to trade solos with me. And don't worry, it's not a competitive event. Everyone soon gets into the groove, and as the 'bandleader,' I steer the jam to make it friendly, and as musical as possible. At the same time, I know that everyone leaves with a serious shot of adrenaline."

For the G4 Experience, guests will choose from a variety of room options at Cambria Pines Lodge in scenic Cambria, CA on California's Central Coast. Located on 25 acres of Monterey pines and landscaped gardens, Cambria Pines Lodge (www.cambriapineslodge.com) is within minutes of the Pacific Ocean and Hearst Castle, and is close to hundreds of wineries. Cambria is easily accessible by air via the San Luis Obispo airport and by car via the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas.

Joe Satriani has been a worldwide guitar hero since his 1987 breakthrough album, Surfing With The Alien.  Over 10-million albums and CDs later, in addition to 14 Grammy nominations and numerous accolades, Joe continues to push the envelope of modern rock guitar playing. Although he originally started his career by teaching some of the top rock guitar players of the '80s and '90s like Metallica's Kirk Hammett and virtuoso Steve Vai, Joe Satriani is universally hailed as one of the most technically accomplished and respected guitar players in the history of rock music.  Satriani, who cites Jimi Hendrix as a major influence, quickly established his reputation as one of rock's most important guitarists. Since the release of Surfing With The Alien in '87, Satriani has continually been voted the best guitarist in leading guitar magazine readers' polls. Chosen by Mick Jagger to perform worldwide on Mick's first solo tour and by Deep Purple to tour Japan and Europe, Joe quickly proved himself to be a true guitar hero. After releasing several critically acclaimed solo albums, in 1996, Satriani embarked on the first G3 showcase tour, which became an instant success. Jordan Rudess - New CD and App Release

JORDAN RUDESS - DREAM THEATER KEYBOARDIST AND AWARD-WINNING APP
BUILDER RELEASES SOLO PIANO ALBUM "ALL THAT IS NOW"

"JORDAN RUDESS EXPLORES"

THE INTERACTIVE AURAL AND VISUAL IOS APP RELEASED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALBUM

JORDAN RUDESS, best known as the keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist
extraordinaire for platinum-selling Grammy-nominated prog rock band,
DREAM THEATER, has released his latest solo piano recording, ALL THAT
IS NOW. The album contains 13pieces, composed and performed by JORDAN
on his favorite instrument, a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. The
album was created as part of a PledgeMusiccrowdsourcing campaign in
which almost 1,000 fans pledged between $10 to $5,000 in exchange for
updates on his recording process and a battery of prizes ranging from
private lessons to backstage passes. The PledgeMusiccampaign also
raised money for RUDESS' upcoming orchestral album which will be
released early in 2014.

Says RUDESS, "This album is very close to my heart. For years, I
searched until I found the instrument of my dreams that would be the
perfect extension of my musical thought, playing literally every piano
I could find all over the world. I found my concert grand seven years
ago and, ever since, my deepest musical connection occurs when I play
my Steinway. It is my lifetime goal to purely translate the music in
my mind, to my hands and then onto the keyboard. This album captures
the magic of that connection. The recording was done simply in the
piano room of my house using just my Steinway D and Earthworks
microphones. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

In addition to his solo piano CD, ALL THAT IS NOW, RUDESS has also
released aWIZDOM MUSIC interactive iOS app, "JORDAN RUDESS EXPLORES,"
which enables an interactive aural and visual experience with the
music from the CD. JORDAN RUDESS EXPLORES was created by Jordan with
developer Joe Zobkiw to explore the intersection between the
traditional and electronic world we all live in.

In addition to playing in DREAM THEATER, RUDESS, voted "Best
Keyboardist of All Time" by Music Radar Magazine, is the President of
a successful music App development company WIZDOM MUSIC
(www.wizdommusic.com), creators of award-winning apps such as
MorphWiz, SampleWiz, and Geo Synthesizer. Jordan has worked with a
wide range of artists including LMR, his newest side project with Tony
Levin and MarcoMinneman, Liquid Tension Experiment, David Bowie,
Steven Wilson, Aviv Geffen, the Dixie Dregs, Rod Morgenstein,Enrique
Iglesias, Tony Williams, Jan Hammer and the Paul Winter Consort. DREAM
THEATER's newest self-titled album was released this fall onRoadrunner
Records. The band will begin a whirlwind 14-month world tourin
January,2014. Their full-length concert DVD, Live at Luna Park,
