REWIND THE 80s FESTIVALTEMPLE ISLAND MEADOWS, HENLEY-ON-THAMES - Friday 17th August – Sunday 19th August 2012

Rewind The 80s Festival in Henley-on-Thames returns for a fourth successive year from Friday 17th August to Sunday 19th August in the countryside surroundings of Temple Island Meadows, Henley-on-Thames. Having completely sold out in 2011, this year's star-studded, 24 artist line-up at Rewind The 80s Festival Henley features the legendary Kool & The Gang on Saturday 18th August, and synth pop pioneers OMD on Sunday 19th August.

As with last year's live performances, attractions and festivities, this year's Rewind Henley showcases another massive line-up of iconic 80s recording artists. Dubbed as "Britain's answer to the Jackson Five", this year marks the Rewind debut of Five Star, who celebrate their 25th anniversary in the music industry.

Saturday 18th August will feature Kool & The Gang, as well as appearances from The Bangles, Grandmaster Flash, Rick Astley, Soul II Soul, Five Star, Starship, Heather Small, Jimmy Somerville, Sinitta, Right Said Fred, and Doctor & The Medics.

Sunday 19th August will feature OMD, as well as appearances from Lightning Seeds, Roland Gift, Tony Hadley, The Straits, Wang Chung, Marc Almond, John Parr, Midge Ure, The Christians, T'Pau and a special guest (TBA).

In addition to Silent Discos, Live Karaoke bars, and various Camping and Glamping (Glamorous Camping) options, this year's 80s extravaganza features new attractions including Jamie Oliver's "Fab Feasts" and The Grand Palace of Entertainment (as seen on Channel 5's Fairground Attraction); converted into an acoustic and comedy bar.

Originally launched in Henley-on-Thames in 2009, Rewind The 80s Festival includes the biggest line-up of 80s artists in the world.  In its first three years, Rewind has played host to 80s icons including Holly Johnson, Human League, Gloria Gaynor, Kim Wilde, Boy George, Village People, Bananarama, Billy Ocean, Ali Campbell's UB40 and many more.
