A-J Charron launches an Indiegogo crowdfunding
campaign to amass funds for completing
and launching his second album, Minstrel's Tale.
Minstrel's Tale will be a double-length CD containing 16 songs, with only one instrumental, A-J taking over lead vocal duties on the rest. His wife, Sylvie St-Amand will be sharing lead on two of the songs, as well as providing backing vocals throughout.
The album is a leap away from his critically acclaimed debut, Humouring Gods. This will be a Progressive Rock album, with three more mainstream, radio-friendly songs.
The Indiegogo campaign aims to amass $15,000 CDN in order to hire a drummer, as well as mix and master the album, buy artwork, manufacture the discs and cover promotional costs. A dozen rewards are offered, ranging from a thank you at $1 to an Executive Producer's credit for $1,500. An interesting item, at $500, is the romantic kit where A-J will write and record a song for a loved one, promising that each song will be different, a nice gift for someone you love.
The campaign runs from March 28th to May 11th 2013 inclusively.
