Surprise!! We've made a new studio record that we've kept secret until now!
Anubis' music has always been a pretty heavy and intense thing, so we've had a bit of fun with rearranging some of the favourites from our past and approaching them in a completely different way. We've put our electric guitars (except one), synths and mellotrons in the cupboard and done this one as an acoustic record. It's fascinating to hear these songs in a completely different way.
We've also recorded a long lost piece called 'Technicolour Afterlife' which was the original ending (and title track) of the album that became 230503 back in 2005. This piece has recieved the same treatment as the rest of the songs and gives the 'final page' to the story of 230503 after all these years.
This is the way his story ends.
The new album is called DIFFERENT STORIES, and comes out - aptly - on 23rd May 2018. Or 230518 for the trainspotters.
