Since we got back off tour, we've been working very hard on putting together a live release from the tapes we got over in Europe and we've come up with something very special.
We're really excited to introduce you to LIGHTS OF CHANGE - our first attempt at a proper full-length prog live album. Behind our Eyes was a nice little taster for our 2015 tour, but this captures the band at it's best and is destined to be a permanent catalogue item. The first disc was recorded at the Night of the Prog festival at Loreley in Germany which had been a dream of ours since we were recording 230503 (never in a million years would we have expected to have done it), and features two epic tracks - Pages of Stone from The Second Hand and Disinfected and Abused from 230503. Sandwiched in between them are stage favourites old and new.
The second disc presents the whole of our second album, A Tower of Silence in sequence. This was the first time we've performed the album since we did it as a one off in Sydney in 2012 (and to be honest, we didn't quite get it right that night). However, at 't Blok in the Netherlands on July 8th we did get it very right. This album seemed to be the one that captured most of our audiences imagination first and so it seemed fitting to do it in the Netherlands where we got our best reviews for it.
The album is due out on Feb 1st. We're expecting to see them sometime mid January so we'll hopefully have them arrive with you by release date. If you live in Sydney, we'll have them up for sale at Progfest on January 27th.
