TOWERING FLOWERS, initially called Painted horses, was born in Rome in
2016 from Emiliano Ukmar (voice and guitar), Sara Usai (back vocalist)
and Fabio Rossi (Bass). Claudio Carpenelli (drums), joined the band in
2018 and Stefano Gallozzi (keyboards) and Pierluigi Vizioli (solo
guitar), in 2018. The proposed genre can be identified as Alternative
/ Psychedelic / Prog Rock sliding and absolutely not "brainny"
inspired by 70's bands such as, Pink Floyd, Genesis and artist like
David Bowie in particular. The band turned its name in "Towering
Flowers" in 2017, inspired by "Lucy in the sky with diamond" the
popular Beatles song. The Towering flowers complete the mix of their
first EP in September 2018.
