The future of The Enid will eventually pass to the next generation, Jason, Nic, Max and now Tristan, who will be joining the band during the summer.
It would be very selfish of me to allow The Enid to die with me after all the dedicated hard work these gifted people have put in to the band, wouldn't it?
I intend to see the Journey's End trilogy completed - Invicta (2012) and Reset (2014). Then it will be time to pass on the flame.
THE SHOW
A large three manual Allen Digital Organ is being installed in the venue specially for the concert. Tristan will open the evening and then join the band together with The Seraphim Trompetiers for a performance of Fand and more.
I asked him this morning what he intended to play and this is what he said, "I am going to be playing the most revolutionary organ set of all time.
From an extreme rock work specially improvised for the event, to William Harris's 'Flourish For an Occasion', to my own shocking arrangement of 'Mars from Holst's 'The Planets'.
Come and meet Tristan. There are still some tickets left but this show will probably sell out.
