Saturday night, September 3rd, the Local 506 is hosting a show featuring Lactose Quervo, George-Preston-Herrett and Woodenhead.
WOODENHEAD: Headlining Saturday's show, Woodenhead returns to the area for the first time since their great main-stage performance at ProgDay 2006. Formed in 1975, Woodenhead from New Orleans has rocked audiences for over 30 years with their great mix of progressive rock and fusion.
GEORGE-PRESTON-HERRETT: Past ProgDay attendees will remember Brian Preston (Smokin' Granny) and GPH from their preshow gig in 2009. Drawing on a variety of influences, GPH create dynamic textures with an emphasis on improvisation and the out-of-the-ordinary.
LACTOSE QUERVO: Their tag line says it all - Psychedelicprogrocksoulfunkfreakywildhellyeahmusic.
Tickets are $8. Doors open at 8:30pm and showtime is 9pm. For more information please check out the Preshow page on the ProgDay web site. (http://www.progday.net/ProgDay-Preshow.html)
