25 Years Bleeding Ears brings six unreleased tracks plus all the old demos of the band remastered from the original cassete tapes in a "almost archaeological" work, according to the vocalist Manu Joker (Uganga, ex-Sarcófago), only original member.
Aside the release, ANGEL BUTCHER announces the departure of the vocalist/guitarist Maurício "Desecrator" (Krofader) that was replaced by Mark "Gollemaster" (ex-Krow, Scourge, Tributo Ao Sarcófago).
"Maurício had been manifesting his interest to leave the band a long time ago", says Manu Joker. "He has other projects like Krofader and the brand Snow Ball and we had a mutual decision that his departure would be the best. We have a lot of respect for him as a person and musician and ANGEL BUTCHER only have to say thank you for all this years of friendship and partnership".
About the new member, Manu completes: "It was not difficult to get to Mark's name, once we are close friends, we played together on the "Tributo Ao Sarcófago Tour" and we live in the same area here in Brazil (Minas Gerais State). For sure he is the correct choice for the band, he has the same goals, and he's a complete insane. We can't wait to show this new line-up on stage".
Formed back in the 80th's, ANGEL BUTCHER released four demos between 1986 and 1990, one being with the participation of Wagner Lamounier of Sarcófago and shared the stage with some Brazilian bands like Vodu, Genocídio, PxUxSx, Megatrash, Cirrhosis until they split. The band reunited in 2003 and keeps active until nowadays as a side-project of the musicians.
"AxBx is something that I like a lot, but it has to be faced as a side project because we all have our other main bands", adds Manu. "This year the band will not play live anymore because I'm involved in the writing process for the next Uganga album and the same goes for Tito with Seu Juvenal. But in the next year we will do some shows, we are going to release a new videoclip and will record our next album with more unreleased songs and old stuff. AxBx is still a work in progress, for sure!"
