The release date of the new SKINFLINT album "Nyemba" on CD is January 16th 2015. The preorder phase will start on January 2nd 2015 in our webshop.
With the reissued albums „Iklwa" (2010) and „Dipoko" (2012) SKINFLINT from Botswana already got a lot of attention within the last few years. Their very original mix between obscure Epic and Heavy Metal, featuring elements of African Folklore, immediately got big attention.
The old tradition can still be heard very well on the new output „Nyemba". With pure passion and enthusiasm guitarist/singer Giuseppe Sbrana and his two sidekicks prove, that also on the poorest planet on earth Heavy Metal has conquered the souls of many people. The folkloristic elements of the eight tracks also give that exotic flair to "Nyemba", which meanwhile has got an original trademark of the band. Also the basic, solid production has been put down on the actual output.
On a bit more than 30 minutes "Manilla Road of Africa" are calling out for the fourth battle; and "Nyemba" will enlarge the fanclub even a bit more!
