Lunden Reign's Debut Album “American Stranger” Receives Multiple “Best Album/Songs of the Year” Awards for 2015!

"A bunch of top-notch rock songs that feel both fresh and timeless." - Chris C., BloodyGoodMusic.com

Los Angeles – Alternative rock ensemble Lunden Reign's debut album "American Stranger" was released in March 2015 to critical acclaim across the globe. Along with a multitude of positive reviews worldwide, the album received multiple "Best Album/Song of the Year" Awards in 2015!

"We are truly appreciative and flattered by all the incredible interviews, reviews and airplay we've received for our debut album, 'American Stranger'," says band leaders Nikki Lunden & Laura Espinoza-Lunden. "Now we are so humbled and appreciative that 'American Stranger' is making multiple music magazines year-end top album and song lists! THANK YOU to those that are helping to support and showcase Lunden Reign's music and messages to the world!"

Bloody Good Music's Top Ten Albums of the Year – New York
"Not many bands begin their career with a concept album, but that's what Lunden Reign did here, and the result is an album that brings the classic Heart sound to a new generation. This is a tightly-wound album of classic rock that features some glorious guitar tones, and well-crafted songs all around. Concept album can also get bogged down in the gimmick, but that doesn't happen here, as the album can be taken on face value as a bunch of top-notch rock songs that feel both fresh and timeless. It's the kind of record that's easy to overlook, but well worth the effort to give it a try. The only thing I can't speak to is the story of the record, as I was only sent a download without any of the lyrics or liner notes."

Bloody Good Music's Top 12 Songs of the Year "Mary" – New York
"This is classic rock done the right way. It sounds like the love child of Heart and Led Zeppelin, and rocks just as much. The way the vocal strains just enough in the chorus drives home the emotion of the song, while the hook has a way of sticking with you more than you'd expect."

Highwire Daze Magazine #9 Top Albums of 2015 – Hollywood, CA
The band has an interview in the 25th Anniversary print version which includes the top 10 listing and features photos by rock photographer Jack Lue.

AKADEMIA MUSIC AWARDS "Best Alt Rock Album" – Hollywood, CA
In July, 2015, "American Stranger" was Voted "Best Alt Rock Album" by AKADEMIA MUSIC AWARDS (Hollywood, CA). "Lunden Reign's album 'American Stranger' has all the compositional invention and production competence required for radio greatness – and a frayed emotional filament that travels deep in the hinterlands of true art, as well."

Also, Lunden Reign's "Hear Me" will be the first entry in Warren Kurtz "Fabulous 2015 Songs" feature for Goldmine Magazine (Wisconsin), covering 20 songs from 2015.

Says Nikki and Laura, "We believe 2016 for Lunden Reign is going to be an even more incredible year! We are already back in the studio creating our 2nd album 'Confessions' and once-again teaming with platinum-selling producer co-writer Luis Maldonado (producer and co-writer of 'American Stranger'. We also hope to be performing in more festivals around the country this summer and crossing our fingers for increased airplay of our songs. FYI, watch for us as we will be in the audience of the 58th Annual Grammy Awards! Next year we hope we will be on the stage as well! Thank you all for you support!"

The band will be headlining at the legendary Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles on Saturday February 6th!  (http://www.whiskyagogo.com/site/event/lunden-reign/) Already some of rock's legends have joined Lunden Reign on stage including TERRI NUNN of BERLIN, PRESCOTT NILES of THE KNACK and DALE BOZZIO of MISSING PERSONS. Some of these performances are available on YouTube.

Lunden Reign is composed of two core members: Nikki Lunden (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Composer) and Laura Espinoza-Lunden (Guitar/Composer). Producer Luis Maldonado joins as guitarist on select shows and the duo tours with some of LA's top musicians including: Matt Denis (bass) & Matt Lucich (drums). Lunden Reign's music is described as 'Big Beat Alternative Rock' or 'Modern Classic Rock'. Some say it's the signature album for "ROCK's REBIRTH". The band's debut concept album "American Stranger" was released on Cleopatra Records March 17, 2015 and began receiving world-wide critical acclaim almost immediately. The 10 original songs are scored with layers of haunting melodies, uplifting guitar riffs blended with a sharp edge and a massive beat.

Here's what's being said about Lunden Reign:

Dale Bozzio (Frank Zappa, Missing Persons): "'American Stranger' is a masterpiece! Every song is great!"

Terri Nunn (lead singer of Berlin): "Laura is a great songwriter and musician. I listened to (American Stranger) a couple of times. My favorites are 'LOVE IN FREE FALL,' 'HEAR ME' and 'THE LIGHT.' I loved the passion of 'HEAR ME' …that's my most favorite one."

Prescott Niles (The Knack): "Every so many years an album comes out that redefines modern music. 'AMERICAN STRANGER' is that next album. Today the cycle goes full with a long-awaited return to music that touches the soul and embraces the test of time."

Candice Marshall (BongoBoy TV 6-15) "This is the kind of (video) I would wait up all night for as a young girl with shows like 'Saturday Night Videos' and eventually, 'MTV'. They are quickly becoming a favorite in my collection!"

Ray Shasho (Classic Rock Music Review 3.5.15) "(American Stranger) is an extraordinary-high-energy- esoteric rock gem, integrated with profound lyrical content, that I felt compelled to applause this exciting new progressive-rock powerhouse."

Gary Brown (ClassicRockRadio.co.uk) "…For a modern rock band publicly described as being, big beat / alternative rock, I decided what we have here is a new rock band with an appreciation for the rock and roll before them. Touching on old school vibes, yet emitting their own fresh, and unique sound."

Luc Ghyselen (Keys & Chords Magazine/Web Belgium 2.14.15): "'American Stranger' is one complete story. Lunden Reign brings melodic rock that also fans of mainstream rock and even pop should appeal to."

Chris C. (Bloody Good Music NY 3.18.15) "'American Stranger' is a strong outing for a debut album, and a needed statement to redefine the ways we see women in rock music.... Lunden Reign defies expectations, and they've made a strong case for themselves. 'American Stranger' is a fantastic example of modern classic rock."

JOE BONAMASSA EVOLVES AS BLUES-ROCK MUSICIAN WITH NEW ALBUM “BLUES OF DESPERATION” RELEASED WORLDWIDE ON FRIDAY 25 MARCH 2016

GRAMMY-nominated blues-rock guitar icon Joe Bonamassa announces today
his brand-new studio solo album, Blues Of Desperation (Provogue), will
be released March 25, 2016. Like his previous solo disc, 2014's Top 10
Billboard hit Different Shades of Blue, the new album features
all-original material, and it sees the maverick superstar guitarist,
singer and songwriter tossing away the rule book as he continues to
reinvent and redefine the blues-rock genre like no other artist
working today.

"I want people to hear my evolution as a blues-rock musician," says
Bonamassa, "somebody who isn't resting on accomplishments and who is
always pushing forward and thinking about how music can evolve and
stay relevant."

The writing sessions for Blues Of Desperation took Bonamassa back to
Nashville, where he'd composed Different Shades of Blue, to work with
some of Music City's top tunesmiths, people like James House, Tom
Hambridge, Jeffrey Steele, Jerry Flowers and Gary Nicholson. "These
are some of the best guys in the business," Bonamassa raves.
"Lyrically, you'll hear the proverbial trains, mountains, valleys and
other blues references about heartbreak and loneliness, but there are
also some poignant moments about getting away from the stressful,
crazy demands of life and losing yourself with your special someone. I
think anybody will be able to relate."

Bonamassa and his long-time producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Iron
Maiden, Journey) convened at Nashville's Grand Victor Sound Studios
(formerly known as RCA Studio A), and during an intense, five-day
period they recorded 11 galvanizing songs with a crack group of
musicians including drummers Anton Fig and Greg Morrow, bassist
Michael Rhodes, keyboardist Reese Wynans, horn players Lee Thornburg,
Paulie Cerra and Mark Douthit, and background singers Mahalia Barnes,
Jade McRae and Juanita Tippins.

Album Track Listing

1. This Train

2. Mountain Climbing

3. Drive

4. No Good Place For The Lonely

5. Blues Of Desperation

The Red Masque have been busy and have big plans for 2016

The Red Masque have been busy and have big plans for 2016. We have a new guitarist, David Carle, and so we have been busy getting him up to speed on previous band material  as well as working with him on some new songs (new songs include "Fathomless", "Malum" and "The Shallows"). To that end, the band hopes to continue to write more material in the next few months so that we can get into the studio again soon (possible plans include a split vinyl EP with Lynnette's other band Green Cathedral, who is currently recording their debut album at Philly JAM Recording).

Below are some images of the new Red Masque band lineup from a recent photoshoot by photographer / filmmaker Gina Andreoli (with whom we hope to make a video with in the future). Gina was really great to work with and made the whole process very painless.

Knifeworld announce new album 'Bottled Out Of Eden'

London-based psychedelic octet Knifeworld are extremely pleased to announce their third studio album 'Bottled Out Of Eden', due for release on InsideOut Music on the April 22nd, 2016. The follow-up to 2014's 'The Unravelling', described by The Guardian as "an ingenious, joyful exercise in exploratory zeal", BOOE is a subtler but more immediate record than any other Knifeworld release. At times beautiful and uplifting & at others melancholic, haunting and otherworldly, the album remains surprisingly accessible and frontman Kavus Torabi had this to say:

"After The Unravelling, which took over a year to complete, we deliberately wanted to change the variables. To alter the approach in order to make something different. I love The Unravelling but it was a very difficult record to make. Rather than spending so long in the studio, constructing, arranging, recording, re-recording and adding layers of additional instruments and noises, this time round we wanted something rawer, more live sounding."

Torabi continues:
"Once we had the title, 'Bottled Out Of Eden', the songs came very quickly. For me, the title has three possible interpretations and all the songs fall under at least one of them. I always like to have a definite theme, it allows you to map out the territory making it far easier to identify which songs that will or won't fit with the overarching idea giving the record a far greater cohesion."

'Bottled Out Of Eden' fuses elements of English psychedelic pop, folk and art rock, with NY minimalist-inspired horn arrangements and typically unconventional song structures that take full advantage of the bands 8-piece line-up. The tail end of last year saw that full band out on tour in the UK with their friends in Vennart where they road-tested several songs from the album. Kavus continues:

"One aspect of Bottled Out Of Eden is the idea of a self-made Heaven or a self-imposed Hell, that agony or ecstasy are often a choice. I look back on the twenty five years of making the kind of music I do, particularly the last six with Knifeworld and just feel so fortunate for the friendships, experiences and absolute joy it has brought. I wanted the album to be as much about that, a celebration of this all too fleeting life, as it is a reflection on death and its impact on everyone that is left behind."

The full line-up of Knifeworld is as follows:

Kavus Torabi
Melanie Woods
Emmett Elvin
Chloe Herington
Charlie Cawood
Oliver Sellwood
Ben Woollacott
Josh Perl

Look out for more information on 'Bottled Out Of Eden' & tour dates in the coming months!

Blues Hall of Fame Singer Sari Schorr Recording New Album With Legendary Producer Mike Vernon and Performing Selected US Dates

"With a powerhouse voice and a band to match this lady will certainly entertain. With whispers of Joplin and Turner her honeyed tones will raise the roof off the marquee." – BLUES ON THE FARM, UK

NYC - In January 2015 legendary producer Mike Vernon (Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall, Blue Horizon) was invited to receive a 'Keeping The Blues Alive' award at the prestigious International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN. This award, was not the only highlight of the weekend for Mike; the second was witnessing the performance of one of the most amazing female blues singers Mike had seen in years – SARI SCHORR.

So knocked out was he with Sari, Mike came out of retirement to produce an album with her. Already a consummate songwriter, with tracks on major labels, Sari has written or co-written most of the songs on her new album. This album recording is now well underway and delivers hard-driving Blues-Rock influenced by the late '60s British Blues movement. Sari (who trained as an opera singer) mixes Blues, Rock, and Soul with concrete melodies and poetic lyrics to striking effect.

Years of touring the US and Europe with Joe Louis Walker and Poppa Chubby, brought Sari greater prominence throughout the blues world. Schorr was recently inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame.

Sari will celebrate the release of her debut album on Manhaton Records in 2016 and undertake a US and European tour. She kicks off her groundbreaking tour at Carnegie Hall NYC, performing at The Lead Belly Fest with Buddy Guy, Eric Burdon, Edgar Winter and Walter Trout, on February 4, 2016.

Says Sari, "I set out to write achingly honest songs about finding love, losing love, betrayal, addiction, and the beauty and the tragedy of this human experience. My life's passion is to use music as a galvanizing force to repair, inspire and unite people. To get there, I had to come clean and stonewall any constraints on the writing and performance of the songs. Then I had to learn to trust my intuition. Making an album is like building a pyramid in the dark. You know what you want to end up with, but you don't really know what you have until there's some distance and light.

"My songs are rooted in the blues and honoring that long tradition is important to me.  My style of songwriting draws heavily on contrasting melodic hooks with aching harmonies. Writing honest and inspired lyrics is always the goal. I rely heavily on imagery and play with double entendres. My influences are many and various and include Son House, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Lead Belly, Etta James, Bessie Smith, Freddie King, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Peter Green, Robert Plant and Bob Dylan.

"The album was written in the US, UK, Spain, and Germany. The band recorded most of the basic tracks in London and Seville. I'm so honored to have such incomparable musicians on the album including Innes Sibun, Walter Trout, Oli Brown, John Baggott and the wonderful Martha Velez."

Sari mixes a passion for music and with a duty of social responsibility. She has devoted her talent and energy to music projects of a grand scale for humanitarian causes. Most notable is her work on a "Toast to Freedom" for Amnesty International, where she collaborated with many musical legends including Warren Haynes, Levon Helm, Keb Mo', Taj Mahal, Eric Burdon, and Carly Simon. Sari's humanitarian efforts include work in Haiti and India. She founded Matters – a non-profit that draws attention to humanitarian causes through the arts.

Sari is a marathon runner, animal rights activist, and aspiring vegan. She is also a writer, philosopher and wanderer with an inquisitive nature. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and pit bull triplets.

Sari's new band THE ENGINE ROOM, features stunning British guitarist Innes Sibun, formerly with Robert Plant. Says Sari, "Making an authentic connection with my audience is everything to me. I can push my vocals to the limit when I feel the energy from the audience rush the stage. I'm transformed when people are consumed by my music."

Band Members:
Innes Sibun (guitar) - Robert Plant
Anders Olinder (keys) - Glenn Hughes, PP Arnold, Peter Gabriel (sessions)
Mike Hellier (drums) - Mud Morganfield, Waterboys, James Hunter
Kevin Jefferies - Roger Taylor (with Jeff Beck), Mike Oldfield and Steve Harley
also US tour special guest:
Chris Bergson (guitar) - Hailed as "a serious talent" by Living Blues, Chris Bergson was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in February 2015. With MOJO Magazine's #1 Blues Album of 2008, #2 Blues Album of 2011, and #3 Blues Album of 2014, New York guitarist/singer Chris Bergson has established himself as "one of the most inventive songwriters in modern blues music" (All Music Guide), creating his own blend of blues, roots and soul. Chris Bergson has performed and/or shared the stage with Hubert Sumlin, Levon Helm, B.B. King, Norah Jones, John Hammond, Etta James, and Bettye LaVette, to name just a few. (www.chrisbergson.com)

Tour Dates:
Feb 07 - The Falcon - Marlboro, NY
Feb 12 - Turing Point - Piermont, NY
Feb 17 - Cutting Room - NYC
Feb 20 - Stanhope House - Stanhope, NJ
Feb 27 - Brian's Backyard BBQ - Middletown, NY
Mar 05 - 12 Grapes - Peekskill, NY

Here's what the media have raved about Sari Schorr:

"New York vocalist Sari Schorr has the effortless range and sense of drama to give any song real purpose and tonight she connects with her showcase crowd as if delivering a personal message face to face." - PETE FENESTRA, GET READY TO ROCK

"So, how far will Sari go? Somewhere towards the top of the glass ceiling of the Blues, for certain, as she is a genuine talent." - DARREN WEALE, WRC

"Sari Schorr is a stunning vocalist, powerful, energized and engaging…. Sari Schorr and other members of the band took the song to church and made believers of us all." - JIMI PATRICOL, BLUES 411

"Sari Schorr is the embodiment of the best the blues and beyond has to offer. Sari is definitely the next big blues diva that will sweep through the blues scene." - DAVE FIELDS, BIG CITY RHYTHM & BLUES MAGAZINE

AWARDED: 2012 Best Performance by a Blues Singer in a Band. "The sensational Sari Schorr who channeled Janis Joplin and Tina Turner during the show by the Joe Louis Walker Band at B.B. King's in August." - BROADWAY WORLD

"A Phenomenal and Beautiful Singer who I like to say, 'Let's all her passion and artistry come out through her amazing voice.'" - TREVOR B. POWER, WNTI

"Bodacious-voiced new front singer Sari Schorr, whose power vocals are a hybrid of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner, with a touch of a contemporary female blues singer like Janiva Magness. Walker and Schorr reached an orgasmic climax on this section of the show with the Willie Dixon's classic 'I Just Want to Make Love to You'…and Schorr transitioning from a whisper to a wail like a car going from zero to 60 in an eye blink." - STEPHEN HANKS

"…the very talented Sari Schorr, who has the raw vocal power of Lydia Pense (Cold Blood)'' - DAN D. HARRELL, BLUESWAX

"(Mike) Zito called up New York City's blues ambassador Poppa Chubby and singer Sari Schorr. Schorr contributed husky come-hither vocals to a rollicking 'Sugar Coated Love.'" - DEBRA DEVI, AMERICAN BLUES SCENE MAGAZINE

In closing Sari has this to impart, "The message of the album is to dream big, be fearless and imperfect, defeat anger with gratitude, embrace freedom, succeed then fail then succeed again, and know in the deepest darkness of your heart that there is a purpose to your beautiful and complicated life."

Canadian Prog Metallers DIVINE REALM Set To Release Tectum Argenti.

Divine Realm- Tectum Argenti (Self-Released) Release date: Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016
From its humble beginnings as a one-man band of multi-instrumentalist Leo Diensthuber in 2010, Canadian instrumental prog metal act Divine Realm have come a long ways in just a few short years. The first Divine Realm material, Mor[t]ality, consisted of only Leo Diensthuber. But shortly after its release in 2013, Divine Realm fleshed out into a full band line-up. Quick to expand their sound with the contributions of new members, the band then dropped a well received EP in 2014 called Abyssal Light. Now that 2016 has begun, the band is finally ready to release their first full-length statement,Tectum Argenti. Tectum Argenti will be released on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016.

Never content to define themselves as adherents solely to one sound, Tectum Argenti draws influence and comparison to prog luminaries such as Pomegranate Tiger, Between The Buried And Me, The Human Abstract, and Animals As Leaders. Multidimensional instrumental prog metal never sounded so good.  Pre-order information for Tectum Argenti can be found on the bands bandcamp page here: https://divinerealm.bandcamp.com/album/tectum-argenti

Casualties Of Cool out worldwide!

Devin Townsend's Casualties Of Cool is out,
January 15th, worldwide.

Originally released in 2014 via a crowdfunding campaign, the release is now accompanied by a bonus CD with b-sides, as well as a brand new bonus live DVD, featuring a full set filmed at London's beautiful Union Chapel during the short run of shows that took place around the album's launch.

The release is available here:

You can watch the live version of 'Daddy' taken from the Live DVD here:

Following its original release in 2014, Devin had this to say:
"Casualties of Cool is a project that means a great deal to me, and also one that we have only had the chance to play live with three (3) times (!). This DVD we made was the second show we ever played and the first with Morgan on drums, so there's an element of 'warts and all' involved that I take into consideration. However, Casualties is very refreshing for me. No click tracks, no backing tracks, no talking and a hefty dose of live improvisation make this a situation that I believe with some exposure could hold an absolute ton of potential. The idea is to take a typical folky aesthetic and wrap it in a moody, kind of haunted David Lynch type aura. It's great fun and Che is brilliant.

I have always said that having played metal and then trying to do something different is akin to having had done porn and then trying to be a 'legitimate' actor. I love metal and will always play it, but damn... I think given half a chance Casualties Of Cool could be really awesome as a live entity. So anyways, I'm not holding my breath but we took some time and 3 cameras to our second gig ever at the Union Chapel last year in London, and here is a song. I hope some of you enjoy it. :) Devin

For Townsend, 'Casualties of Cool' is an escape - from over 20 years of relentless productivity, of the pre-conceptions of him that come with being one of the biggest names in his sphere. A project over four years in the making, largely at night when home from turning the dial up for the day job in the studio, 'Casualties of Cool' has seen Townsend look at himself in order to go forward. Digging out a battered old Fender amp and telecaster, he revisited the rootsy country and North American folk music of his youth. It provides the backbone of the album that's eventually come to fruition, opening with 'Daddy's' shuffling percussion and bluesy finger-picked motif, resurfacing during 'The Code's' sultry twilight atmospherics and 'Forgive Me's' hushed ambience. It's a subtly applied but vital part of this record, providing the bones for the flesh to hang from. "My childhood was full of that type of music," says Townsend. "At Christmas my grandfather would insist on the whole family sitting around singing uncomfortably along to Johnny Cash songs and Irish stuff like the Clancy Brothers. It was a big part of my childhood, it's not like I'm putting on a new hat here."

The luxuriant vocals of Ché Aimee Dorval have draped themselves over a previous Townsend release - 2009's Ki - and so it was perhaps no surprise that the two would find their way back to each other. Recorded by Aimee herself on her laptop, her voice is as important as the shuffling folk that permeates the record, in acting as a glue for the whole thing - her wistful tones hold together constructs so free-form at times they might disintegrate.

For Townsend, the themes of the record surround what he believes to be a bridge in his career; an acceptance of the artist he is today and embracing the fear of leaving behind what people know of him.

Stevie Nimmo confirms “Sky Won’t Fall” album, plus co-headline UK tour with Ben Poole

Award-winning blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter, Stevie Nimmo, will release is second solo album "Sky Won't Fall" via Manhaton Records on Friday 4th March.  One half of The Nimmo Brothers, this will be Stevie's second solo release since 2010's debut acoustic album, The Wynds of Life.
Stevie will embark on a co-headline tour with Ben Poole throughout the months of February, March, April  and May. The tour will kick off on Thursday 4th February at the Bootlegger's Bar in Kendal.  Visit the official UK album and tour press page here - http://bit.ly/1mYQw8i.

Released by Manhaton Records (the same label that releases King King's albums), it's a curious realisation that Sky Won't Fall is only the second solo album of Stevie's career. In mitigation, the Glaswegian bandleader has been busy: since the late-'90s, there has been the small matter of helming legendary blues-rock outfit The Nimmo Brothers alongside younger sibling Alan.  Sky Won't Fall was recorded in just ten days snatched between Nimmo tour commitments. "It was a bit frantic," admits Stevie. "But even with all the madness, the project went very well."

The sessions at Nottingham's Superfly Studios ran so smoothly, it's a testament to the near-telepathic chemistry between Stevie and his crack core band. On drums, Craig Bacon drives the material with power and nuance. On bass, Mat Beable provides the thrilling counterpoint to Stevie's soulful guitar work and evocative vocals. Flanked by engineer Andy Banfield, the album is produced by King King's drummer Wayne Proctor. "Wayne was the man in charge of getting my ideas out of my head and down on a recording," says Stevie. "Not an easy task, but he nailed it."

HEADSPACE launch first track from new album 'All That You Fear Is Gone'

Headspace, the band featuring Damian Wilson (Threshold) & Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Snakecharmer), recently announced the release of their second album 'All That You Fear Is Gone' on February 26th, 2016 and you can view the striking artwork above.

The band, completed by guitarist Pete Rinaldi (Hot Leg) & bassist Lee Pomeroy (It Bites, Steve Hackett), and new drummer Adam Falkner (Babyshambes, Dido, One Eskimo)
have also launched the first track to be taken from the album,
and you can listen to 'Your Life Will Change' here:

Vocalist Damian Wilson had this to say about the track:

"We have a natural need to better ourselves, our situation and future. This is part of the human survival instinct and is encouraged and fed by the world we live in. Despite being aware that the real value is in the here and now, we find ourselves brushed along. But is it truly possible to opt out from this merry go round?

'Your Life Will Change' references past civilizations to modern entertainment. We are distracted and controlled by a society. But what happens if we really break away from the group and ignore the ideal we're being sold?
Will we become gods or fallen angels?"

Guitarist Pete Rinaldi adds of the album: "This album picks up where I Am Anonymous finishes. The process of each of us adding their creativity to the tracks has made this something we are really proud of. All That You Fear Is Gone features the debut of my good friend Adam Falkner on drums who has done a fantastic job making his mark on this record, we are all looking forward to bringing it to live audiences."

The full track-listing for the album is as follows:

1.     Road to Supremacy
2.     Your Life Will Change
3.     Polluted Alcohol
4.     Kill You With Kindness
5.     The Element
6.     The Science Within Us
7.     Semaphore
8.     The Death Bell
9.     The Day You Return
10.  All That You Fear Is Gone
11.  Borders and Days
12.  Secular Souls

Adam Wakeman previously commented on the record:
"This album is the first to debut new Drummer Adam Falkner whom Pete Rinaldi and I have toured with a lot in the past. He's a superb player and he really fits with the band's sound and style. He also gets a round in, which is a plus."

Damian Wilson adds:
"The conforming individual represented in the first album that breaks away, is reflected in All That You Fear Is Gone. Free thinking, fighting against natural grouping, what appears as destructive rebellion is in fact evolution. Written to make the listener think, whilst capturing the ear with complexity and simplicity combined.

Embarking on the second Headspace album I personally had a clear vision, but by the time each band member had thrown in their piece, I thought we had produced an album that was unlistenable to.  As it progressed, the rough edges and corners seemed to settle like a good lasagne. Everyone has their own tastes, but I know this is a bloody good lasagne."

'All That You Fear Is Gone' is the follow-up to 2012's debut album 'I Am Anonymous', once again produced by the band and mixed by Jens Bogren. Expect more information, including tour dates, in the coming months.

Macon Blind Guitar Legend Joey Stuckey Working On New Blues Album Feat. Chuck Leavelle, Jimmy Hall and Renowned Producer Ross Hogarth

Macon, GA - Joey Stuckey is a blind guitarist, producer, educator, recording artist and media personality.

Born in Green Cove Springs FL, a city that has honored him with the key to the city and now residing in Macon GA, for whom he is the official music ambassador, Joey Stuckey is a power house of music talent. He has worked with icons from Alan Parsons to Ted Nugent and Joe Solo, producer of Macy Gray to Sammy Nestico, arranger of the Count Basie orchestra.

Last year saw him take on the UK where he toured and released his latest single "Blind Man Drivin'".
The song and it's accompanying video was a runaway hit and became the official theme song for the Visually Impaired Musicians Lives Conference, held at the University College of London where Stuckey was also a keynote speaker and performer.

While in the UK, Joey also became friends with research teams from Queen Mary University of London and Goldsmith's University and has worked with them extensively to improve music technology for the blind. As a blind person, a studio owner, producer and professor of music technology at Mercer University, this was a roll Stuckey took on with ease.

2016 is already shaping up to be a land mark year as Joey prepares to release the full length album "Blind Man Drivin'" in early summer.

Says Stuckey, "Music is the thing that makes me know I am a live. It is my spiritual bread and butter and the best way I know to encourage and provide comfort and inspiration to others, while at the same time entertaining and sharing stories about who I am. When I first started making my own music it was a combination of southern rock sensibilities mixed with bands like The Smiths and The Cure, I used to think of myself as the Morrissey of Macon. I have played a lot of jazz and my jazz album 'Mixture' was number 9 on the top 40 CMJ jazz charts for 5 weeks back in 2013, but, the thing that really seems to enthrall my audiences is blues and that is now what I am focused upon."

And no wonder that blues is what Stuckey fans want to hear! With his versatile voice that can whisper or shout with equal alacrity and his guitar playing that can make one note cry or explode like a super nova with seemingly a thousand notes a second, blues is Stuckey's true calling.

To make this debut blues project truly memorable, Stuckey is working hard to gather old and new friends alike to add some truly one-of-a-kind performances.

These artists include:
Ross Hogarth – Producer (John Melloncamp, Van Hailen R.E.M...)
Chuck Leavelle – Keyboards (Rolling Stones, Alman Brothers, Black Crows...)
Jimmy Hall – Sax and harmonica (Wet Willie, Jeff Beck, Hank Williams JR...)
Shannon Forest – Drums (Toto, Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts...)
Additional drums by Brandon Khoo, Maypex endorsed artist.
Charley Hoskyns – Bass guitar (Shayne McGowan, The Popes and Pete Maher...)

Godsticks great gigs you'll be going to in 2016.

If you live in Wales, or nearby, then it would be great to see you at one of our upcoming headline gigs. We'll be playing in Llanelli on the 29th January and in Cardiff (with Hunted) on the 11th March. Best of all, both gigs are free entry. For full details just head on over to our website: www.godsticks.co.uk/gigs

Also, you may have noticed on our Facebook page yesterday the announcement that we'll be supporting the fantastic Dutch metal band, 'Textures'. They have a new album coming out in February and are undertaking a European tour to promote it. Godsticks were lucky enough to be included on the bill in London, and if you're interested in attending tickets can be purchased here: www.theunderworldcamden.co.uk/gigs

We ended 2015 on a high note by supporting our friends, the virtuoso supergroup The Aristocrats, in Birmingham at the O2 Institute and Bristol at the Bierkeller. The new line-up, which includes guitarist Gavin Bushell and drummer Tom Price, is working very well and we were grateful for such an enthusiastic response from the audience. It can be tough being the support band but they made us feel very welcome! It's loads of fun playing the new material, from our album Emergence, and we can't wait to get started again.

We'll also soon be unveiling a new t-shirt design, based on the Emergence artwork.

Over the next few weeks we hope to be able to announce some more gigs around the U.K. and in mainland Europe, so keep a lookout for another newsletter or check us out on social media:

SPIRITUAL BEGGARS Announce New Studio Album Release and Tour Dates!

Swedish vintage style hard rock pioneers SPIRITUAL BEGGARS return with their 9th studio album entitled "Sunrise To Sundown", which will be released on March 18th, 2016 in Europe as well as March 25th, 2016 in North America via InsideOutMusic.

Just like on their previous two album releases, "Return To Zero" (2010) and "Earth Blues" (2013),SPIRITUAL BEGGARS stellar line-up is consists of bandleader Michael Amott (Arch Enemy, ex Carcass) on guitars, teaming up with Apollo Papathanasio (ex Firewind) on vocals, Sharlee D'Angelo (Arch Enemy, Witchery) on bass, Per Wiberg (Candlemass, ex Opeth) on keyboards as well as Ludwig Witt (Grand Magus, Firebird) on drums.

After a busy couple of last years with Arch Enemy, Michael Amott and his bandmates have once again found the availability and inspiration to lay down 11 dynamic and uplifting new songs, which not only easily demonstrate how much on top of their game SPIRITUAL BEGGARS still are after over 20 years of activities, but also add a fresh and spontaneous vibe to their impressive catalogue.

Speaking about how the new album came together, Amott commented the following:
"We've been writing the album here and there over the last couple of years when our schedules have allowed us to meet up and spend a few days jamming. A few of the songs I wrote on my own, others were written by our keyboard player Per Wiberg. Our drummer Ludwig Witt submitted two tracks that are actually his first major contributions to the band as a writer - and they're great songs too!  I also co-wrote a few tunes with Per Wiberg and that was really a lot of fun as well, it's been a very collaborative process."

In counteraction to the oftentimes soulless current hi-tech digital cut/paste recordings, "Sunrise To Sundown" was tracked live off the floor and Amott added the following about the recording results:

"I'm super excited about how the album sounds sonically, our engineer Staffan Karlsson also produced and mixed the album and the result is something we're very proud of.  I think every album we have made (this being our 9th) has had its own vibe and atmosphere. I can honestly say this band has never made the same album twice. To me, "Sunrise To Sundown" is the next chapter of the book we've been writing since we started the band over 20 years ago. Of course, the foundation of our style is heavy rock music, but we always keep evolving adding new influences and colours to the bands core sound."

Supporting the release of "Sunrise To Sundown", SPIRITUAL BEGGARS will finally also be hitting the road again in order to showcase the new material on the following club-dates as well as festivals:

Trettioåriga Kriget

Trettioåriga Kriget (Thirty Years War) was formed in 1970 in Saltsjöbaden, a seaside resort southeast of Stockholm. They were at the time all around seventeen and still in high school. The schools mainhall was in the beginning used as the rehearsalroom. This first lineup of the band was a sixpiece with two drummers! It included Stefan Fredin- bass guitar, vocals, Pocke Öhrström- guitar, vocals, Dag Lundquist- drums, Olle Thörnvall- harmonica, guitar, Dag Kronlund- piano and Johan Gullberg- drums. In 1971 Pocke, Johan and Dag K. left and Robert joined on vocals and guitar. In 1972 Olle quit playing harmonica to concentrate on the lyrics, leaving the band to concist only of Stefan, Dag and Robert. They decided they needed a good guitarplayer and started to audition some guitarists. Through these auditions they found Christer who joined the band in summer 1972. The band rehearsed intensively for a year and a half and developed a style of their own quite unlike the main trend in Swedish rock during the Seventies. ..

Early 1974 they got a recorddeal. Also at that time they got a new rehearsal room in Saltsjöbaden. An old underground disco which they called "Grunden". There they would remain for a long time….An album was recorded that summer and released in august 1974. The album was named only "TRETTIOÅRIGA KRIGET". The musical talent and originality of the group was duly recognized in the reviews. The album was an instant classic and is often considered as the first Swedsih heavy rock album. They also now started to tour extensively in Sweden and also did several live performances on national Swedish radio. ..

The second album "KRIGSSÅNG" was recorded in the summer of 1975 though it was not released until early 1976 . It is commonly regarded as Trettioåriga Krigets "masterpiece". The second side is totally devoted to the long suite "Krigssång 2″. These first 2 albums have had a tremendous influence on later Swedish progressive and metal bands i.e. Anekdoten, Opeth, Änglagård etc. The band continued touring and gigging in -75 and -76 . In October -76 they left for an extensive English tour from Croydon in London to Cardiff in Wales to Sunderland near the Scotish border. They went down very well and the English musicmagazine "Melody Maker" chose them as one of the most promising bands for -77, speaking enthusiastically of their "intense gripping songs" and saying that "the power of the music is tremendous"!!! Back home again however they got the boot from their Swedish label, who apparently hadn..t heard any news from abroad. .. Trettioåriga Kriget then chose to sign for a small Swedish independet label called Mistlur.

The first album on this new label was called "HEJ PÅ ER".It was recorded in the summer of 1978 in "Grunden", the rehearsal room, with mobile recording facilties. By this time Mats had joined on keyboards too. The album was very well received and was to that date their best selling album. The album was seeing the band moving to a more simple songformat and is seen as the last album in a trilogy starting with the first album. The band continued to tour extensively during this time around Scandinavia. ..

In the summer of 1979 the band recorded "MOT ALLA ODDS" also at "Grunden". It is largely regarded the bands least successful album though it has its moments, i.e. the title song. This was the last album with Robert who left in autumn 1979 leaving the vocals to Stefan. .

.In 1980 the band played the Roskilde festival in Denmark and continued the extensive touring. And they also recorded their fifth album called only "KRIGET" which was released in spring 1981. It got some some very good reviews and was played a lot on Swedish radio. Even so the band felt that
energy was running out after 7 years of touring plus 5 albums and decided to split.

The story then jumps to 1992 when Stefan, Robert and Dag played an accoustic set at a releaseparty for the CD-release of "Krigssång". And then in 1996 to coincide with the release of their mostly live album "WARMEMORIES", the band decided to do two reunionconcerts in Stockholm… ..

In 2002 Stefan, Dag, Chris and Olle decided to start rehearsing to try out new material. These rehearsals were such a success that the band decided to enter the studio once more and record a new album. In the studio, Robert and Mats also joined. The album was named "ELDEN AV ÅR" (Fire of Years) and was released January 2004. It got such very good reception and reviews. Many describing the album as the bands best and even one of the best reunionalbums ever released. Liveshows also followed in 2004 with the classic lineup of Stefan Fredin, Dag Lundquist, Christer Åkerberg, Robert Zima and Mats Lindberg. In September 2004 the band even made their US debut playing the Progday Festival in North Carolina and also for the first time in over 30 years did a show in their homevillage of Saltsjöbaden. .. Later that autumn their first two albums, "Trettioåriga Kriget" and "Krigssång" were re-released with bonustracks. In March 2005 the bands third album, "Hej på er" (Hallo everybody) was also re-released with bonustracks. .. In June 2005 they played Swedens biggest rockfestival, Sweden Rock, and in March 2006 they played the Baja Prog Festival in Mexico. ..

In 2004 TK also released "GLORIOUS WAR" an album recorded in 1971 by the founding lineup of the band but put in the archives and not released until 2004.

In August 2007 their 8th studioalbum, "I BÖRJAN OCH SLUTET"(In the beginning and the end), was released to overwhelming reviews. The band saw it like a natural follow up to "Elden av år", with a more coherent atmosphere, and unlike "Elden" this album was written and recorded in a shorter space of time. Autumn 2007 also saw the band play in both France and Brazil for the first time as well as some Swedish shows to promote the album .. Spring 2008 saw the band play in Spain for the first time as well as shows in Norway, Sweden and France. .. In the autumn of 2008 the band did release their first live album called "WAR YEARS". A double album covering their whole career from their 2nd show ever in their homevillage of Saltsjöbaden up their show at the Progday Festival in North Carolina, US in 2004. They also made their first tour of Japan and to coincide with the tour released their first 3 and 2 latest albums there in a boxset called just "TRETTIOÅRIGA KRIGET". .. In June 2009 TK played the prestigious Nearfest Festival in the US…

In April 2011 TK released the last album in the trilogy starting with "Elden av år" and "I början och slutet" called "EFTER EFTER" (After efter). In the autumn of 2011 the band is did their first shows in Chile and Peru plus in Stockholm for the first time ever performed their debut album from 1974 in its entirety.

Autumn 2012 saw TK doing their first ever show in Italy plus a handful of shows in their homecountry Sweden. Including a headlining appearance at the "Sweden Prog Fest" festival where they for the first time ever played their masterpiece album "Krigssang" in its entirety.
2013 started with a show in Tokyo, Japan in January. It will be followed by an appearance at the Melloboat cruise Stockholm-Riga together with among others Opeth, Änglagård, Devin Townsend. This will be the last TK show for some time because work will start
on a new album. Plans are also underway for finally re-releasing the 4th and 5th TK albums ("Mot alla odds" and "Kriget") digitally and on CD.
