AKIN - The way things end (8 tracks free digital version)

AKIN (progressive rock / metal with a string quartet – France) has uploaded 8 tracks of their new album on their bandcamp page (http://akin69.bandcamp.com/) letting let those tracks in free download for a couple of weeks so that metalheads can get to know their music better.  Why don't you give a try?

The electric guitars were recorded by Benjamin SERTELON at the NS4 Studio (www.myspace.com/ns4studio). The acoustic guitars and the darbuka were recorded by Guillaume PROST at La Sorbonne Studio. The string quartet was recorded by François MONTMAYEUR at La Charbonnerie Studio (www.myspace.com/fmontmayeur, lacharbonnerieprod[at]free[dot].fr). The drums and the lead vocals were recorded by Romain FAYET (www.myspace.com/romainfayet) and the rest was recorded by AKIN.

Poetry reading on "Resilience" and "Miller's end" by Tom O'Bedlam (www.youtube.com/user/SpokenVerse ). The poem "To psychoanalisis", from which we used a few verses for "Resilience", was originally written by Kenneth Koch. The poem "Miller's end" was originally written by Charles Causley.
