Update new album recordings
5 down, 4 to go! Almost all material has been written and we already recorded 5 songs. Also, the mixing process has started already. We're very happy about the songs and we feel our new recording approach pays off. We also started the artwork, contacted a (new) artist, sharing ideas, planning photo shoots etc. We will spend the next 3 months to finish the album to be ready for the cd release party on October 8th.
New album release party October 8th DRU Fabriek Ulft
Our 4th album will be released early October and we will do a release concert on October 8th at the DRU Fabriek in Ulft. This is a very new and modern stage with great acoustics located in The Netherlands near the German border. The release party will be a special Knight Area concert and this will be the first opportunity for you to get our new album. SymfoZone and Sympho Shop already confirmed their co-operation and more special guests will be announced.

ProgSud festival Marseille
If you are in the south of France on June 4th, join us at the ProgSud festival! Knight Area will perform at this festival together with other bands as Eclat, Lazuli, Anima Mundi and Quantum Fantay.

We have a new item for our merchandise: a pair of drum sticks with the Knight Area logo! The first opportunity to get your hands on a pair of these sticks is at the IO-Pages festival at April 16th, so be sure to visit us at out merchandise stand. On the occasion of the 100th edition of its magazine, IO Pages added a fantastic DVD. The DVD contains 16 live performances of well known progressive bands like Gazpacho, Riverside, Mangrove, RPWL, Unitopia and... Knight Area! Knight Area contributed to the DVD with a registration of Mastermind.
