Please spread the word and add the dates to your tourdates formats. THANK YOU!
August 21st: THE BORDERLINE (London)
August 23rd: THE ROBIN 2 (Wolverhampton)
"A band should start a comback only, if they can perform bigger and more sophisticated as they were when they left. Pavlov's Dog did this terrificly successful. It's a furious, a moving to tears comeback!"
(Eclipsed Magazine voted ECHO & BOO on rank 13 of 2010's most important releases)
"I had to wait 30 years to see Pavlov's Dog live. And it was better than everything I saw. David Surkamp's voice is still great. The audience was freaking out. 150 minutes goose skin and pure fun playing. Who can beat this!"
(Breakout Magazine 4/2010)
Pavlov's Dog bio:
If a band deseves to be referenced as unique, the US ProgRock phenomen Pavlov's Dog fits the bill. Founded in 1973 by former Chuck Berry drummer Mike Safron, it's David Surkamp's incredible vocal performance, that brands the singularity of Pavlov's Dog. Consequently, in 1975 Pavlov's Dog were the highest signed newcomer band ever since! Their 1st album Pampered Menial - including the classics Julia and Song Dance - is a milestone in Rock history, and was voted by Mojo Magazine into the Top 100 of ProgRock's most important releases of all times. An extraordinary lineup (with violin & mellotron) ties up with David Surkamp's hightuned falsetto voice – a sound like coming from another world, fragile and highly affecting. Members of Yes, King Crimson, Roxy Music a.o. contribute to their 2nd album At The Sound Of The Bell. Later in history the legend is born, that David Surkamp died after inhaling helium. The 2010 studioalbum Echo & Boo was voted rank 13 of 2010's most important releases by German reputable Rock&ProgMag Eclipsed. And the 2011 album Live And Unleashed is the first livealbum in the band's years history. The legend is alive!

Pavlov's Dog Concert-Review Zygos, Athens (ROCKPAGES Greece 11/2011):
Pavlov's Dog was on fire and one couldn't but be impressed by the gifted frontman/singer…if I had to use just one word for him, that would definitely be "phenomenal"! We were all aware of his talent and his vocal abilities, but it's a different thing to witness him in a live environment. ''Subway Sue'', ''Song Dance'' and the closing classic tune ''Julia'' proved the perfect ending to a superb show.

Pavlov's Dog Concert-Review Colos-Saal, Aschaffenburg (Hooked on Music, 11/2011):
The band offered a virtous performance. Bandleader Davis Surkamp controled the crowd in every single second. It's the unique combination of geniuos music and a huge, but never artificial orchestration, that keeps the excitement among the fans boiling permanently.

Pavlov's Dog Concert-Review Festhalle Durlach (ROCK HARD 11/2009):
Pavlov's Dog are quite popular, so the Festhalle was packed ... The group perfectly harmonizes and comes off with enormous spirit. As well, his voice is so unique, so affecting, and makes the show very special. After two hours, David performs one last song with his acoustic guitar, and leaves the audience with the heebie-jeebies. That's the real deal!
Pavlov's Dog Concert-Review Zeche Carl / Essen (Squealer-Rocks 11/2009):
The musicians surrounding David Surkamp and Mike Safron are firstclass. The voice is remarkably high, unmistakeable, the audience facinated. David sings these songs with an unbeateable passion. Mike Safron celebarates the drumming. Whoever stated that the drummer from The Muppets Show goes after John Bonham, has never seen Mike Safron. Sensational!
Pavlov's Dog Concert-Review Zeltival / Karlsruhe (Festivalmagazine 8/2007):
The legend is alive! Pavlov's Dog rocked the Zeltival. The band pocketed the audience in a second. There was no way out. If one ever heard this unique sound, backed by the unique voice, is totally addicted, and will never forget that night.
Pavlov's Dog Concert-Review Zeche / Bochum (Rocktimes 7/2007):
When the concert started the venue was quite packed. The show began with the powerful rocking "Song Dance". David Surkamp's voice is fascinating, giving me the heebie-jeebies permanently. Drummer Mike Safron is a brand of his own. ... The audience's sympathy carried Pavlov's Dog from one peak to the next. Julia! The party goes on. Everybody celebrates and sings along. A 20 minutes encore ends a concert of a kind I've never seen before.
