One of the main Brazilian thrashcore bands, UGANGA is about to release
its first live album.
Titled Eurocaos Ao Vivo, the album was recorded in Germany and
Portugal during the band's European Tour in 2010 and will bring the
tracks "Kali-Yuga", "Asas Negras", "3XC", "Meus Velhos Olhos de
Enxergar o Mal", "Sua Lei, Minha Lei", "Zona Arida" and "Fronteiras da
Tolerancia".
Eurocaos Ao Vivo still brings other features. The first one is a
documentary about the 18 shows of the band's European Tour.
Directed by Eddie Shumway - same director of the "Fronteiras da
Tolerancia" videoclip -, the video brings scenes of the shows and
backstage, besides statements of the musicians and band crew.
Eurocaos Ao Vivo will also feature unreleased recordings that will
appear on two Tribute-Albuns that UGANGA is participating.
The first song is a version that UGANGA did for "Desespero" from the
Brazilian punk rock legend Pastel de Miolos. The track was recorded at
the Vintage Studio in the city of Araguari under the supervision of
the producer Pablo Vieira.
The second one is a recording of the classic "Nao Desista" from the
legendary Brazilian metal band Stress. The song will be part of the
"Tribute To Stress" that is being produced by Metal Soldiers Records
from Portugal and that will feature other Brazilian respected bands
such as Taurus, Azul Limao, King Bird, Salario Minimo, among others.
The recordings of "Nao Desista" happened at Rock Lab Studio in the
city of Goiania and the production is signed by Gustavo Vazquez. All
the recordings stages were registered and now are being posted on
Youtube. Check out the first part which brings statements from the
musicians and scenes of the drums recordings:
