Prog metal wizards BIGELF are back with their new album "Into The Maelstrom"

Prog metal wizards BIGELF have been through tough times during the past years including the tragic death of former guitarist A.H.M. Butler-Jones resulting in a "spontaneous hiatus" in 2011 as mastermind Damon Fox calls it.

Marking the BIGELF debut of drum god Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) the Californian band's fourth album "Into The Maelstrom" is also the first for new label home InsideOutMusic and takes their melodic prog-doom to new heights profiting from an inspired and reinvigorated Fox: " Making the record has been a certain kind of journey. A few years ago I had to completely let go of BIGELF, which was painful but it came back with force and vision. As such, the music began to shape from a different perspective and I have been able to see an alternative way of accomplishing my goals. To me, 'Into The Maelstrom' is a genesis, a bridge between the band and a larger audience. Strap yourselves in ladies and gentlemen, you're in for a wild ride."

The band just released a first track, „Control Freak", in form of a lyric video. Check it out below in the media section. 'Into The Maelstrom' will be available on a limited 2CD digipak which includes exclusive re-mixes & demo versions, as well as a gatefold 2LP vinyl edition which includes the full album on CD. The full track-listing is as follows:

1. Incredible Time Machine
2. Hypersleep
3. Already Gone
4. Alien Frequency
5. The Professor & The Madman
6. Mr. Harry McQuhae
7. Vertigod
8. Control Freak
9. High
10. Edge of Oblivion

MEDIA RELEASE: A LONELY CROWD RELEASE STUNNING SECOND ALBUM TRANSIENTS THROUGH BIRD'S ROBE RECORD

Melbourne female fronted, progressive rock four-piece A Lonely Crowd are ecstatic, and very proud to announce the release of their highly anticipated second album Transients.  This highly eclectic and yet engaging work is set to be released on February 1st, 2014 through Sydney's Bird Robe Records (sleepmakeswaves, 65daysofstatic, The Nerve etc), and is a culmination of two years of intensive writing and recording, representing the band’s most cohesive and ambitious project yet.

Since cementing their current line-up in 2010, A Lonely Crowd have shared the stage with many luminaries of Australian music such as Cog, Closure in Moscow, Dead Letter Circus, sleepmakeswaves and many more.  They have played extensively in their hometown and interstate; their unique approach and ferocious live performances have seen them featured on festivals such as Rock the Bay and Progfest.

The band have released two singles and a debut film clip, and launched at a capacity show at The Evelyn Hotel, in the lead up to the release of the album.  The album itself is truly reflective of its title - a musical tour de force that juxtaposes genre and dynamic whilst still presenting a unified sonic vision.  The group launch the album on February 1st at Melbourne’s Evelyn Hotel, and will play a national tour in support of the album during 2014.

SupreMa announces new official video of "Fury and Rage"

SupreMa has been demonstrating to be one of the bands with the highest activity in Brazil and after the release of the new album "Traumatic Scenes" in Brazil, Europe, USA (via Power Prog) and receiving high scores in reviews around the world, the band announces officially the production of their new video.

The chosen song is "Fury and Rage" and the production, screenplay, shooting, edition and post production are being done by renowed film producing company Nevasca Filmes, who have worked and had some of their members involved with some of the biggest productions and artists in Brazil such as Naldo Benny ("Caipifruta" official video), João Neto & Frederico (DVD), Cine, girlband Girls (Fábrica de Estrelas, Rick Bonadio), Micael Borges, Manu Gavassi, The Vampire Diaries (RTA Global) and"Pânico na TV" TV show (RedeTV and Band).

Filming took place during the months of June and November 2013 in two emblematic Brazilian cities called Joanopolis and Paranapiacaba.

For the shooting producers used all the same technological devices used in cinema productions from crane to 5D lenses Carl Zeiss 28mm which made the new SupreMa's video clip turn into a real film production in the form of a short film.

"I'm still enjoying this new video from SupreMa. On "Nightmare" video we wanted closed frames and show the band most of the time to present our new sound and style, but on "Fury and Rage" the proposal is totally different. The lyrics are really strong and the screenplay written by Nevasca Filmes at first shocked me, the character in this video suffers a possession and there are some scenes really outstanding and intense. We did everything calmly from the selection of the actress, make up, scenario and every scene of this video, and the locations that are amazing cities with enigmatic landscapes. This was the biggest SupreMa's production ever done and the story is a short film inserted inside of a band video." says guitarist Douglas Jen.

On the screenplay, "Serena", performed by actress Mayra Moura, is a regular young woman that is tormented all the time by something that she doesn't know what it is. In the middle of the story after trying to escape, she falls down inside a surreal world and she is possessed by the being who plays with her body, feelings and torments her. Inside this fight "Serena" wants to end this insane game of fury between these two worlds.

The "Fury and Rage" video has no release date scheduled yet and is in the process of editing and post production.

SupreMa promises to post images of the making of and a teaser shortly. Stay tuned to the SupreMa website and their official Facebook's page where all the information will be posted.

The tour in support of the new album has begun and the band has already visited important cities like São Paulo, Manaus and Maceio. First Album Collaboration By Peter Hammill & Gary Lucas 'Other World' CD Available February 3, 2014

Esoteric Recordings are delighted to announce the release of the first album collaboration featuring Peter Hammill, (Van Der Graaf Generator) and Gary Lucas, (Captain Beefheart, Jeff Buckley) . "OTHER WORLD" (EANTCD 1026) is released on 3rd February 2014. The fourteen track recording is a result of an invitation from Peter to Gary suggesting they might convene at the formers studio to see if some musical sparks might fly. Having first met in Aylesbury after a Hammill solo show in 1973, it was not until January 2012 that Gary arrived at the studio armed with instruments and some pieces which might be worth working on. As Peter explains in the notes below, sparks flew and against the odds, "OTHER WORLD" unfolded with seamless speed. The majority of the recordings are produced by Peter and Gary's guitars and Peter's vocal though they are aided by a couple of pieces of found sound and loops.

The duo are so pleased with the results of the recording that they intend to play live and dates are being booked for early 2014 and will be announced shortly.

PETER HAMMILL

When Gary arrived at my studio in January 2012 we didn’t exactly have a grand plan about what we were about to attempt. He’d told me that he had some pieces which might be worth working on and that he’d also look forward to creating some improved sonics to which I might add something. For my part I’d prepared some looped pieces, some experimental sound washes and I, too, had a couple of bare-bone song ideas. Fundamentally, though, we probably thought we’d have done well if we managed to get an EP of some sort out of the session.

From the first note it became clear that we were on exactly the same wavelength and the project unfolded with seamless speed. After a couple of days we knew that we had the makings of the album. Of course, I still had to spend some time discovering the vocal lines and lyrics which the backing tracks hid within themselves but that, too, came about with some speed.

We’ve ended up, I think, with something quite strange but strangely powerful. The music ranges from some kind of roots territory to the wildest of sound collages. All of it - bar a couple of pieces of found sound - is produced by our guitars and my voice. So far, so trad.

It has, then, I suppose, some of the characteristics of a warped folk music...from another world.

GARY LUCAS

I was a Teenage Anglophile, particularly partial to psychedelic and progressive sounds from the UK, Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd, Family, Third Ear Band, The Nice, the Move, the Incredible String Band, Kevin Coyne, Dr. Strangely Strange. All were music to my ears then, coming of age as I did in the mid- 60's in the rather staid and moribund musical climate of Syracuse New York.

I was such a passionate fan that I subscribed airmail to Disc and Music Echo, ZigZag, and Melody Maker in order to keep abreast of a UK scene still awash in full flower power (or so I imagined)...

I sent away for the latest singles from a UK record shop, rare English vinyl that was destined never to show up on US shores.

As the music director of Yale's WYBC in the early 70's I dj'ed a show entitled "The Sounds from England (and other delicacies)” where I wore the grooves out of my rare English record collection.

(The non-English "other delicacies" I spun on my program incidentally were Can, Amon Duul and ironically enough, Captain Beefheart and Tim Buckley).

One of my favorite albums in this period I bought solely on the cover art alone in 1969 was Van Der Graaf Generator's"The Aerosol Grey Machine ,“ a highly atmospheric and mysterious album which I fell in love and played to death for my listeners and friends. In 1973, I took my first trip overseas performing lead electric guitar in the European premiere of Leonard Bernstein's "Mass" in Vienna with the Yale Symphony Orchestra.

On the way back home I stopped in London for the very first time, partially because I had to finally experience it live for myself--and also to hopefully get some interviews with leading musicians for "Zoo World" magazine, a hip music newspaper out of Florida attempting to take on "Rolling Stone".

Wandering into an HMV store on Oxford Street one day after arriving, about to penetrate the wilds of darkest Soho, I met a fellow enthusiast and rabid Peter Hammill fan, so much so that he had cut out a chameleon from styrofoam and installed it in the shop window to promote Peter's new solo album "Chameleon in the Shadow of Night". He was a huge fan.

He told me excitedly that Peter was performing a rare solo concert up at the Friar's in Aylesbury later that week. Ringing my pal ZigZag editor Pete Frame, whom I'd bonded with in NYC a few months before at a Genesis show, I arranged to come up to Aylesbury to stay with him for a few days in order to catch this concert.

On the night, Peter came on solo after a one-off instrumental set by Zox and the Radar Boys, featuring Phil Collins and Peter Banks and proceeded to blow everyone's mind with a hypnotic, stark, doom-laden suite of songs featuring his piano, acoustic guitar and that incredible other-worldly voice.

After his set I went backstage to interview him, and found him exceedingly nice and friendly.

Flash forward to London May 2005. I am seated at Royal Festival Hall with my friends, UK journalist Mike Barnes and former Propaganda vocalist Claudia Brucken, awaiting Van Der Graaf Generator's historic UK reunion concert.

In a season of standout reunion shows I either attended or performed at, including Cream at Royal Albert Hall, Brian Wilson's "Smile" at Carnegie Hall, and the reunited Magic Band (of which I was a member) at Hammersmith Odeon, this particular concert was my absolute favorite.

Peter was as compelling as ever, his powers undiminished.

Flash forward another couple years, and through the miracle of the internet we re-connect and Peter was as keen as I was to collaborate, inviting me up to Bath, where we spent a couple days recording in his home studio/laboratory.
It was a total dream for me.

Having worked closely with many great artists and vocalists, including Don Van Vliet and Jeff Buckley. Peter is right up there as a great creative partner and collaborator.
I brought several instrumental pieces to the session, as did he.

We'd never exchanged any tapes of our new music previously.

The result to my ears is just...well, listen for yourself!!

Supernal Endgame album "Touch the Sky, Vol. II."

Here is the first finished track from the upcoming Supernal Endgame album "Touch the Sky, Vol. II." The song is called "White Flag," and we are streaming it for this weekend only, so please listen, leave us your thoughts, and (especially) share it like crazy!

At this point it looks like the album will likely be an independent release, at least early on. We anticipate that it will be available in March or April; we will set a firm release date when we have the master in hand (which should happen within the next couple of weeks).

Crank it with some good speakers or headphones and thanks for listening!

Patrick Hemer "The End" (single)

Two years after his stunning first solo album (<< More Than Meets The
Eye >> - Nightmare Records), the Prog Metal shredmeister is back with a
new single proving once again that he's not only a guitar virtuoso but
also a songwriter, a producer,...and a singer!

"It's a very special song" Patrick says,"really different from the
super heavy, riff-oriented material I'm currently writing for my
upcoming full-length album. "The End" is more about mood and harmonies
than just sheer heaviness, and its power lies more in the intensity of
the feel than in the usual Metal music riff-and-drums barrage. So I
thought I might as well release it as a single to stick to its unique
character."

This is also a good way to give the fans something to sink their teeth
into before Patrick's new album tentatively scheduled for the fall of
2014 and that he promises will be "100% Progressive Power Shred
Metal!".

"The End" (music & lyrics: Patrick Hemer)

Produced, mixed and mastered by Patrick Hemer at Twin Figures Studio

Vinnie Angelo : piano & keyboards
Bruno J.Frank : bass

GALAHAD NEWS

2014 EP Releases
All the material for our three 2014 EP releases has now been mixed by Karl Groom at Thin Ice who, as usual, has done a wonderful job. We are very proud of how all the tracks have turned out and have a few surprises in store later in the year!

The first ‘Seize the Day’ EP, will officially be released on Monday 24th February and pre-orders can be made as of now from our website (www.galahadonline.com), these will be sent out during the week commencing 17th February....providing all goes to plan! ;-)

Those of you who wish to receive promo copies for radio play, review etc. please email us with requests and details of your show/magazine/website etc.

Live shows
As some of you may have noticed Galahad have been asked play a show for GARF (Gothenburg Artrock Society) on Saturday 1 March at the Musikens Hus, Djurgardsatan 13, Gothenburg. This will be their first ever Swedish show and, as you can imagine, the band are looking forward to visiting Sweden. Other bands involved will be A.C.T who will be playing live their first live show in four years and Wonderland plus a local support. It should be a great evening of prog/rock. ;-)

Galahad will also be opening the Celebr8.3 Festival at the Islington Assembly Halls on Sunday 1 June. More details to follow.

The band will also be playing at the Christchurch Music Festival on Saturday 5th July. Galahad are very proud to be associated with this event as all monies raised will go to benefit various local charities. More information to follow regarding stage times etc.

Empires Never Last
We will also shortly be spending even more time at Thin Ice Studios with Karl to begin the process of re-mixing and mastering Empires Never Last. We have actually completely run out of stock physical copies of the original album and have decided that instead of merely going for a standard re-pressing, we intend spruce up the album, add a few exclusive extra tracks and re-issue the album in a digipack format later in 2014. In addition, various demos of songs which didn’t make the final cut of ‘Empires’ will be made available to download from our website at the same time.

So there we have it, it looks as if 2014 will be another busy and exciting year for the band, plenty to look forward plus, new material is also in the process of being written for the next Galahad album.

Audio Fidelity To Release Classic Alice Cooper Album 'Billion Dollar Babies' On Hybrid SACD On February 4, 2014!

“...one of the best rock 'n' roll records of all time!”

Camarillo, CA - Alice Cooper fans worldwide rejoice! Marshall Blonstein's Audio Fidelity is releasing Alice Cooper's classic album 'Billion Dollar Babies' on Hybrid SACD on February 4, 2014! As a bonus, along with the meticulously reproduced artwork, enclosed in every CD is the very collectible replicated 'Billion Dollar Bill'.

With 'Billion Dollar Babies', Alice Cooper refined the raw grit of their earlier work in favor of a slightly more polished sound resulting in a mega-hit album that reached the top of the US and UK album charts. It’s impossible to overstate how popular the band had become by the time their sixth album was released. The album, is brilliant, decadent and encapsulated all the celebrity trashiness of the 70's only three years into the decade.

Song for song, 'Billion Dollar Babies' is probably the original Alice Cooper group's finest and strongest. The album's singles “Elected”, “Hello Hooray”, “Billion Dollar Babies”,and “No More Mr. Nice Guy” all became hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Also included are a pair of perennial concert standards - the disturbing necrophilia ditty “I Love the Dead” and the chilling macabre of “Sick Things”.

After the album was released, the band embarked on a tour which broke the US box office records previously held by the Rolling Stones. The show climaxed with a guillotine execution of Alice. The album and the tour made the band into the world's preeminent pied pipers of teenage trash culture and the most successful rock band ever to be loathed by American parents.

“Other than the original 'Alice Cooper Band' being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2011, our second biggest achievement was when our album 'Billion Dollar Babies' went toNumber #1 in all three music trade magazines at the same time in April of 1973. Number #1 in Billboard, Number #1 in Record World and Number #1 in Cash Box. We had hoped it would sell Gold or Platinum as a follow up to the success of our album 'School’s Out', but a Number #1 album was something that was totally unexpected. Over the years the title track “Billion Dollar Babies” has become my signature song because of the recognizable drum intro.” - Neal Smith, Alice Cooper drummer and founding member

“I remember we were out on the road when the album finally came out in February 1973. I listened to it in my hotel room and just got this really big smile. I was thinking, 'It's amazing, we're really pulling this off'. The album was very, very unique and very, very different. I was really proud of the songs, especially 'No More Mr Nice Guy', 'Billion Dollar Babies' and 'Generation Landslide'.” - Michael Bruce, Alice Cooper guitarist/keyboardist and founding member

TRACKS:
1. Hello Hooray
2. Raped and Freezin'
3. Elected
4. Billion Dollar Babies
5. Unfinished Sweet
6. No More Mr. Nice Guy
7. Generation Landslide
8. Sick Things
9. Mary-Ann
10. I Love the Dead

Produced by Bob Ezrin
Mastered by Steve Hoffman at Stephen Marsh Mastering

“...it remains one of rock's quintessential classic albums!”

PROGRESSIVE ROCK & PROGRESSIVE METAL - E-ZINE - Recommends

RPWL - "Wanted"
Germany's outstanding art rock act was recently confronted with a rather difficult question: how do you follow up a both epic as well as celebrated album as was the Nietzsche-themed Beyond Man and Time? Here's the answer: you tackle the really, really huge topic on your new record Wanted - the ultimate liberation of the spirit. But… How does an idea like that spring to the minds of an art rock band in the first place? RPWL tell of the hero of two worlds, Giuseppe Garibaldi who, being a tremendous admirer of the Greek antiquity became aware of a scroll of Plato's in which he analyzes the work of Hippocrates. It can be read in Garibaldi's diaries that Hippocrates had in fact found the formula for a medicine that leads the spirit into a real and absolute world, free of all illusion and invisible ghost worlds. The question, however, that inevitable arises at that point is the following: is the human race ready for what Plato called the "gift of absolute freedom?"

Original Fleetwood Mac Guitarist Jeremy Spencer Announces 2014 US Tour & New Release 'Coventry Blue'

Jeremy Spencer's fans in the US have long been waiting for his return. In fact, except for a few brief US appearances (in 2006 and 2010), 43 years have passed since Jeremy last toured the US (with Fleetwood Mac in 1971). Jeremy announced today that he is scheduled to tour the US in February and March of 2014, initially booking venues in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York.

Jeremy has launched a Kickstarter Campaign offering advance premiums that will extend his tour to other cities in the US and fund the new CD.  Kickstarter supporters will be eligible to receive pre-release downloads of "Coventry Blue", autographed CDs or LPs, original artwork or private concerts. There will also be an exclusive 2014 Tour Club that will provide exclusive video and audio live updates from the tour.

Jeremy Spencer is renowned as a consummate slide guitar player with the years only enhancing his subtlety and taste. He still is the foremost Elmore James stylist alive - bar none. Jeremy can and does tear it up, retaining his verve, passion and devotion to the blues, but now he brings a cultivated maturity, assured conviction and compositional purpose that are truly sublime. His songs come via his intimate journey from the spiritual core of his heart and connect profoundly with listeners. The original Fleetwood Mac were Britain's most authentic blues band during the sixties boom before morphing into mega-million selling pop celebrity. Their beloved alliance remains an historic testament to the era's meeting of generations, melding of continents and shared musical devotion.

This tour will afford Jeremy the opportunity to display his many facets with a wider evolved guitar pallet as displayed on Bend.  At last he will deliver live on the record with its haunting melodies and exquisite guitar harmonies as well as select mighty Mac blues and rock n' roll in his inimitable style. Expect his alternatively dirty and precise Elmore James slide stings; he'll delve deep into blues nuggets that he discerningly curates and revitalize the primordial rock that he spot on mimicked famously and comically on stage with the Mac. Further treat is his expansive range of influences from Django Reinhardt to Marty Robbins to Mark Knopfler, fingering them effortlessly and seamlessly incorporating them into his own compositions as natural an easy fit as that of his beloved ceramic slides. Jeremy's tour return to these shores at a creative pinnacle makes this a rare opportunity for fans.

"Bend in the Road" has garnered rave reviews:

"Making a full-blown return now, the veteran released his fifth solo album, "Bend in the Road", that shows the master hasn't lost a bit of his youthfulness. Spencer is in his element on this collection of newer cuts and classics such as Otis Rush's punchy, mesmeric "Homework" and Homesick James' "Homesick". They all feature that mythical slide, but Jeremy also plays a fine piano that breaks the album in the middle from classy to exceptional. But the genuine magic settles in after an ivories-lighted, deep "Merciful Sea", marries widescreen anger to a pacifying sway in an alchemic manner which can move mountains and souls. And then there's peaceful title song to elegantly sign it all off - and leave Jeremy's fans wanting more. The road goes on, so may Spencer's time be long." - Dmitry M. Epstein, "Let it Rock"

"Jeremy Spencer, the Fleetwood Mac alum, has found inspiration in working with new voices, old masters and his own muse — creating an album of intimate, handmade joys that moves confidently from blues to Americana to rootsy pop. Bend in the Road, recalls in many ways the Elmore James-focused contributions he made to Fleetwood Mac's first pair of Peter Green-led recordings in the late 1960s.  But there's much more than that going on here. Spencer, the roving gypsy heart of this project, finds inspiration everywhere — switching to keyboards on tracks like the majestically restrained "Merciful Sea" and James' sizzling "Cry for Me Baby," while uncovering inspirational wellsprings that reside far beyond the iconic Delta cottonfields and shotgun shacks of traditional acoustic blues. In the end, this gives Bend in the River the feel of a career valedictory. It's gloriously hard to pin down — something personified in standout tracks like "Homework," which finds Spencer howling like old rock and stinging like Otis Rush, all over a loose groove that would have been right at home on an Eric Clapton solo recording from the early 1970s. It's that kind of record. The very good kind." – Nick DeRiso, "Something Else Reviews"

"Bend in the Road" admirably demonstrates why Spencer's in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Impeccably picked notes are still the trademark of Spencer's guitar-picking, and it begins with the first cut, "Homesick," a loping blues. Spencer's slidework on "Whispering Fields," an instrumental, sounds like silk sliding on satin. No string screech, no missteps, just pure, clean  slidework, a maestro at his best.  Spencer's long absence from the public eye is our loss. Let's hope he's back to stay.  There's a certain serenity that pervades this album that goes beyond the eye of the beholder, and the twelfth cut, another instrumental, "Merciful Sea," exemplifies it." -  Lou Novacheck, "Elmore Magazine"

"Bend in the Road" finds Jeremy Spencer doing what he does best, delivering quality blues. It's a great album filled with many exceptional cuts, once again assuring that Spencer will forever be remembered as one of the greats. And what's best? He is far from done. Be ready for some more music to surface in time to come." - Mark Kadzielawa, "69 Faces of Rock"

"In following up "Precious Little," his notable 2006 comeback, Jeremy Spencer has crafted his fifth and finest solo release. Maybe "Precious Little" was Spencer's way of getting his studio legs back after a nearly three-decade absence from recording. Or perhaps choosing to make "Bend in the Road" a collaboration gave it that extra oomph. Then again, it could simply be — as he told The Oakland (Mich.) Press in January 2010 — that "I've got so much material 'cause I've just been, like, dormant. I just turned 61, so you do kind of want to get it out while you can and show people what you've got." Whatever the reason, "Bend" is a startling achievement for the founding Fleetwood Mac slide guitarist." – Peter Hund, "Good New Music"

KOTEBEL Performs at ProgDay 2014!

KOTEBEL was started in Madrid in 1999 by Venezuelan pianist and composer CARLOS PLAZA. Unlike most symphonic bands that begin with rock music and add classical elements, Carlos began with classical music to which he added a wide variety of influences.  The result was a sound that continues to evolve, and has been compared to music as varied as GENESIS, DEBUSSY, YES, RAVEL, ELP, MESSIAEN, THE ENID, STEVE HACKETT, GENTLE GIANT, KING CRIMSON and CHOPIN.

KOTEBEL has released six highly-acclaimed albums since 2000.  It's most recent, Concerto for Piano and Electric Ensemble, took both the Jury and Pop Vox awards in Instrumental Music at the 12th edition of the Independent Music Awards.

ProgDay is very pleased to be presenting KOTEBEL on it's first performance trip to the United States.

ProgDay 2014 is the 20th Anniversary of the longest running progressive rock festival in the world.  ProgDay 2014 will take place on Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st, at Storybook Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  For more information, and to hear music from this year's bands, please visit us at www.progday.net. Diamante signed for Atomic Stuff Records

Diamante reached an agreement with Atomic Stuff Records for the
publishing of their third album named "Ad Vitam Reditus", whose final
recordings are now being made at Atomic Stuff in Isorella (BS), lead
by Oscar Burato.

Biography:
Diamante are a band from Brescia that started its career in 1994 from
the union of two already existing bands. The main influences of their
style come from rock/hard rock bands like Gentle Giant, Deep Purple
and Uriah Heep, or prog bands like Area, Bliglietto Per L'Inferno, Il
Rovescio Della Medaglia and Locanda Delle Fate. Their first plan was
to write their own songs! After various changes, in 1998 with the new
member Nico as vocalist and bass player the line-up becomes more
stable and they record the first full-length album "Riflesso". Even if
this is a good studio experience, they aren't fully satisfied of the
work done because the melodies aren't sufficient to create the result
that they wanted to reach. From this negative point they want to
improve their quality and after some years of study and practice, in
2007 the second album is recorded. This work, titled "Diamante", shows
the real nature of the quartet, characterized by 1970s sounds, a light
progressive shade and a strong hard rock matrix! Unfortunately in 2011
the band loses Nicola, the keyboard player, for good. Thanks to all
their friends, supporters and Nicola's family, the hard choice is to
go on with the band! Alan joins the band and they restart to record
their new album. Their third work is due to be released at the
beginning of 2014; the album will include a pair of songs written by
Nicola while the other six were composed by the new lineup and a cover
of " Ballo in Fa# Minore", a song by Angelo Branduardi.

Line-up:
Nico Sala: vocals, bass
Claudio "Caio" Alloisio: drums, backing vocals
Michele "Volpe" Spinoni: guitar, backing vocals
Alan Garda: hammond organ, keyboards, backing vocals
