Best known to progressive rock fans as a former member of VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR, saxophonist, flautist and composer DAVID JACKSON will be performing at ProgDay as a special guest of ALEX CARPANI BAND. The band is currently touring to promote 4 Destinies (Jackson appears as a guest artist on 4 Destinies), and is doing special shows with Jackson which include VdGG music.
DAVID JACKSON will join ALEX CARPANI BAND (Italy), along with BACKHAND (Venezuela), SENSATIONS' FIX (Italy), NECROMONKEY (Sweden), THE GALACTIC COWBOY ORCHESTRA (US), LUZ DE RIADA (Mexico) and KOTEBEL (Spain) at ProgDay 2014, the 20th Anniversary of the longest running progressive rock festival in the world. ProgDay 2014 will take place on Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st, at Storybook Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
