The new Brazilian supergroup features ex-members of Angra and Shaman
Only six months has passed since the band begun, but Noturnall already
released an album that hit several sales records, played a 'sold-out'
show at Carioca Club in Sao Paulo, shot its first DVD, launched three
video clips, the most recent for a new recording of "Woman In Chains"
of Tears For Fears, and was featured on all the major specialized
media from Brazil.
In fact, we could not wait another repercussion than this considering
that Noturnall is a supergroup formed by some of the most experienced
and respected musicians of the Brazilian heavy metal scene, as the
Shaman members Thiago Bianchi (vocal), Fernando Quesada (bass), Leo
Mancini (guitar), Junior Carelli (keyboards) and the worldwide famous
drummer Aquiles Priester (ex-Angra).
All this made possible Noturnall to feature as cover story of the new
issue of Rock Meeting Magazine. On four pages of interview, the
vocalist Thiago Bianchi discusses several issues such as the formation
of the band, the production of the debut album, the current situation
of Shaman and advanced details of the DVD that comes around.
Rock Meeting Magazine is free and distributed digitally. To check, go

Another highlight story about the band has been published on the
latest issue of the Brazilian version of Bass Player magazine. On the
two-page interview with bassist Fernando Quesada, too many behind the
scenes information and details of the equipment used by Fernando in
studio and also on stage.
Issue #32 of Bass Player Magazine that brings as cover a story with
bassist Nathan East is now on sale at Brazilian kiosks.
Among other news, Noturnall and Almah will play a very waited concert
at Aquarius Pub in Sao Paulo on July, 12th. This will be the first
time that the bands will share the stage and both are considered the
most proeminent in Brazil nowadays. The event will also count with the
bands Republica and Rexor as support acts.
