The new Brazilian supergroup features ex-members of Angra and Shaman
Only seven months has passed since the band begun, but Noturnall already released an album that hit several sales records, played a 'sold-out' show at Carioca Club in Sao Paulo, shot its first DVD, launched three video clips, the most recent for a new recording of "Woman In Chains" of Tears For Fears, and was featured on all the major specialized media from Brazil.
In fact, we could not wait another repercussion than this considering that Noturnall is a supergroup formed by some of the most experienced and respected musicians of the Brazilian heavy metal scene, as the Shaman members Thiago Bianchi (vocal), Fernando Quesada (bass), Leo Mancini (guitar), Junior Carelli (keyboards) and the worldwide famous drummer Aquiles Priester (ex-Angra).
Recorded at Fusao VM&T Studios in Sao Paulo and at The Shanty Shack Studios in New Jersey (USA), Noturnall's debut album has as one of the producers the Symphony X and Adrenaline Mob vocalist, Russell Allen. The big news is that the album will now be released on vinyl in September by Mafer Records from Brazil. The pressing will be limited on 300 copies with gatefold sleeve and a deluxe booklet. As bonus track, the band's recording for "Woman In Chains" of Tears For Fears.
