Tempo is being well received even in the specialized heavy metal media, such as the respected Brazilian webzine Novo Metal. Tempo was voted one of "Best Brazilian Albums of 2010" by the editor Matheus Vieira. On the review of the album, the same journalist reported: "With lyrics of good taste, Banda do Sol makes a beautiful sound, clean and with feeling. Formed by musicians with vast experience in the Brazilian scene, this album shows the band wonderful songs as "Quem Eu Sou?","Yes Blues" and "Tempo".

Although aimed to progressive rock - a music segment with no good space in the mainstream media - BANDA DO SOL is finding its place among the mass media. The journalist Marcelo Moreira of the major Brazilian newspaper, Jornal da Tarde, devoted an entire edition of his column 'Combate Rock' to write about BANDA DO SOL.
