De Staat's new album out Monday, April UK tour to follow

De Staat the Netherlands hottest alternative rock band, will release of their hotly-tipped second album Machinery on March 7th, followed by a UK tour starting Wednesday April 6th at the London Camden Barfly.

Machinery will be released by Cool Green Recordings via Mascot Records, and has been described as a "gut-inducing slab of psycho funk."  The album is a dark sonic adventure that takes the listener through underground caves of blues, funk and electro where halal butchers, serial killers, whistleblowers, rats and sweat-covered bodybuilders cross paths. Initial pressing of De Staat's "Machinery" CD is available in limited edition format with a stunning 64-page booklet.

De Staat's full UK tour dates include London Camden Barfly (April 6), Manchester Deaf Institute (April 7), Nottingham The Bodega (April 8), and Bristol The Louisiana (April 9).  Tickets are available from 0845 413 4444 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 0845 413 4444      end_of_the_skype_highlighting and www.alt-tickets.co.uk
