Aliases, Chimp Spanner and Cyclamen set for Tech Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself Tour

Technical metal rising stars Aliases, Chimp Spanner and Cyclamen hit the road on the Tech Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself tour this April

Demise Management, Basick Records and Realising Media are super hyped to announce the Tech Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself tour, featuring some of the most exciting up and coming progressive and technical metal talent: Aliases, Chimp Spanner and Cyclamen.

Having recently signed to Basick, Aliases (featuring ex SikTh guitarist Pin) are hotly tipped for great things. Coinciding with the release of their brain melting debut EP, the tour marks the start of an exciting year for the band. Having only finalised the line up in April last year, Aliases leapt from unknowns to major tech-metal players, thanks to the online release of the demo track "We Never Should Have Met". The phenomenal response prompted an invited to play their debut gig at the prestigious Euroblast festival in Germany, where they inked their deal with Basick.

Djent pioneer multi-instrumentalist Chimp Spanner broke out of the internet based scene and into the wider metal world last year with the release of his fusion-prog-metal master piece "At The Dream's Edge". Following killer performances at Euroblast and the Basick Records 5th birthday party, further demand for the Chimp live show has been off the scale, so here it is!

Tech-hardcore-post-rockers Cyclamen stormed onto the scene last year with the release of their highly acclaimed "Dreamers EP" and album Senjyu. Following shows with prog metallers TesseracT and The Safety Fire, the band proved the music translates impeccably to the stage, making them a much talked about prospect for 2011.

Guitarist Leah Woodward of Aliases shouts: "Aliases are excited to be hitting up some stages across the UK in 2011! What could be better than that? Other than doing it alongside some incredibly talented musicians and our good friends in Chimp Spanner and Cyclamen! These shows aren't to be missed!"

Paul Ortiz / Chimp Spanner chatters: "This is gonna be awesome! I had the good fortune to see Aliases live back in October and they rocked ass. And the Cyclamen record is absolutely sick. I'm hoping this will really mark the beginning of a live element to Chimp Spanner. I don't know if I'll be out there all the time, but I want to be able to play where and when it counts. So, keep an eye out for some monkey business in a town near you!"

Hayato Imanishi of Cyclamen excitably announces:  "We are really excited to have managed to organise this tour – all three bands are pushing boundaries of experimental/progressive metal in very different ways and we are certainly honoured to be a part of this tour with Aliases and Chimp Spanner, who constantly inspire us with incredible music they create.

It will be an amazing opportunity to see some of the best British metal acts out there right now and it will certainly be an amazing experience and great fun! We really hope many of you will be able to
make it and share this with us, after all we do this all for love of music!"
