Europe embark on February "Balls 'N' Banners" UK tour

Following their knockout performances at 2010s iTunes and Sonisphere Festivals, Swedish rockers EUROPE will embark on their nationwide Balls and Banners UK tour in February 2011. Support on all dates will come from Voodoo Johnson.

EUROPE - A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Europe was formed just north of Stockholm, Sweden in the early 1980's. Originally called "Force", the band initial influences included Thin Lizzy, UFO and MSG. Europe has, to date, recorded eight studio albums and sold over 15 million records. Their biggest and most well known hit singles include "The Final Countdown", "Rock The Night", "Carrie" and "Superstitious". After a hiatus in the 1990's, Europe returned in 2004 with the album "Start From The Dark". Since the new millennium, Europe has released 3 studio albums, 2 live DVD's and toured extensively all around the world. The band are currently touring and promoting their latest release, the 2009 album "Last Look At Eden".
