Norwegian progressive metal band, Rudhira, are releasing their debut album, "Ein", June 1st. We would love it if you could post a review on the album, write a news story about it, play songs off the album on web radio and so forth. Rudhira play a dark form of progressive metal, and there are influences from Rush, Emperor, Iced Earth, Opeth, Candlemass and Mastodon here as well.

Rudhira
Two years after the progressive heavy metal band Rudhira was formed, their long awaited debut album, Ein, is finally released. They're already known as a great live band and after the release the band will focus on touring, both in Norway and abroad. Rudhira consists of the brothers Tomas (guitar) and Andreas Nergård (drums), as well as Lars Todal (bass) and Ole-Martin Moe Thornæs (vocals and guitar). "Everyone in the band are hardworking musicians who gives nothing but a hundred percent all the way", explains drummer Andreas Nergård. "We're prepared to give all we've got to make it, and we will tour a lot in the coming months."
Even before the release of Ein, Rudhira has gained international attention. "We've worked extremely hard on this release and we're very pleased with the fact that we got producer Knut Vegar Prytz to mix and master the album", says Andreas eagerly. "Prytz has worked with internationally successful bands such as Keep Of Kalessin, Manifest and Bloodthorn, and we've been fans of his work for several years. There's no doubt that he knows the metal sound and we're very excited about the outcome!"
"Our music is within the heavy metal genre but we mix it with elements from other genres as well. We're inspired by anything from Iced Earth via Rush to Opeth" Andreas elaborates. "In addition to the traditional rock instruments you'll also find a steel guitar and a sitar on Ein. We play a progressive kind of dark metal and I think we've got something original to offer".
