KONSTANTIN JAMBAZOV - "Matter In The Nothingness"
Konstantin Jambazov was born in Varna, Bulgaria. He was interested in music since 14 years old. He has played the guitar since 16 years old. For a long time, he was infatuated by guitarists like Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Steve Morse, Tony MacAlpine, Allan Holdsworth, Greg Howe , Michael Lee Firkins, Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, etc. He has played with many local bands. When he was 20 years old, he found his talent to compose music. At the same time, he began to listen art-progressive rock bands of 70s and 80s, hard rock and melodic rock - Kansas, Styx, Toto, Chicago, Yes, Asia, Foreigner, etc. In 1990 he joined the rock band called TOTAL. The band played his original songs in the style of hard rock, melodic rock and AOR. At the same time he studied jazz guitar and arrangement. In 1993 after dissolution of TOTAL he was invited to join to art-progressive rock band JEKKYL HYDE as a guitarist for recording an original studio album. In 1995 he met NELKO KOLAROV - famous bulgarian pianist and composer (best known from his work with NIKOLO KOTZEV, BRAZEN ABBOT & ROBIN GIBB) who asked him to play in his own studio as a session musician. He has played in many records of famous bulgarian artists including Kolarov's albums "Day of Wrath" and "Ako ti si otidesh za mig".
