Calling All Astronauts debut album "Post Modern Conspiracy" Released 19th May 2013

London based, politically charged, Electro Goth Punk 3-piece Calling All Astronauts release their long awaited debut album "Post Modern Conspiracy" on May 19th 2013.

The 14 tracks of sonic sculpture sit firmly in the alternative rock camp but raise more than a cocked hat to drum & bass, dubstep and big beat whilst reflecting on the decline of the quality of life in today's society.

Recorded and produced by CAA's David B at their own Supersonic Studios in Fulham, with post production from Harvey Birrell (Buzzcocks, Therapy?, Alien Sex Fiend) it is the album they have been eager to make since they set off on their journey in early 2011.

Among the 14 aural delights are their two Twitter Music Chart No.1 singles "What's So Good About?" and "Winter Of Discontent" which were both propelled to the top spot by their loyal 47,000 followers; as well as their debut release "Someone Like You". Many of the said followers have contributed photos of themselves for the album sleeve holding either a C or an A which can be seen on the inner gatefold of the album.

Described by The Ringmaster review as "one of the most exciting alternative rock bands in the UK right now, maybe the best" they have received unbelievable support from radio and press worldwide which has seen them playlisted as far afield as Brazil, Canada and Australia to name but a few and has seen them featured several times on BBC Introducing courtesy of BBC 6Music's Tom Robinson.

No strangers to the stage CAA have played with Echo & The Bunnymen, Pop Will Eat Itself, A Place To Bury Strangers, and have sold out Alan Magee's "Death2Disco" they've been confirmed for Kendal Calling Festival 2013 with other festival appearances to be announced.
