decided to leave TBP due to personal reasons.
His decision came right at the moment that we had almost completed
therecordings of our second album called 'Crossing Over'. It left
uswith the question 'How can we ever replace Leon and what are we
going todo with the album?'
Crossing Over
After recovering from the shock of Leon`sdecision we came to the
conclusion that it would be a shame to not release thematerial we had
recorded. We really believe in those songs. But on the otherhand we
also didn't want to lose too much time spending on finding theperfect
replacement for Leon on this particular album. We just want to move
on,heading for a new direction and to write new stuff with a new
singer.
So eventually, we have decided to stillrelease the album, however more
in a project kind of way. It seemed like greatfun to us to invite some
friend-vocalists as well as some other vocalists weconsider as very
talented, to take care (vocal and lyrical wise) of an existingnew
TBP-song. In their own unique way of course and without limitations,
exceptthat it has to pass the great TBP-jury of course. Very
challenging we think andmaybe we'll even end up with a new TBP-member,
who knows! Our secondalbum 'Crossing Over' will therefore become
literally a crossingover-album to a new TBP-era.
