(Stax/Concord Music Group), is a two-set multi-camera DVD concert
film/double audio CD package shot in Austin, TX during the band's
"pure dynamite" (Boston Globe) debut world tour.
The 2.5-hour show, shot in HD and recorded in 5.1 audio, features
several cuts from Haynes' GRAMMY-nominated, Billboard Top 20 solo
release "Man In Motion" as well as Hendrix's "Spanish Castle Magic,"
Steely Dan's "Pretzel Logic," Sam Cooke's classic "A Change Is Gonna
Come," Warren's live staple "Soul Shine" and more. Guests include the
Groove Line horns and 2012 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Ian
McLagan of The Faces.
The Warren Haynes Band features a hand-picked band including R&B
kingpins Ron Johnson on bass, Terence Higgins on drums, Nigel Hall on
keyboards, Ron Holloway on saxophone and Alecia Chakour on vocals.
All pre-orders come with an exclusive live bonus CD of acoustic Warren
Haynes performances from the 2011 tour, along with "The Power & The
Glory" from the Austin show itself (which is a DVD only track on the
actual release due to time constraints), along with audio version of
both DVD bonus tracks "Patchwork Quilt" & "Hattiesburg Hustle". Also
available as part of the pre-order is a t-shirt and an exclusive
lithograph of the album cover signed by Warren Haynes.
