British Group 10cc Performs First U.S. Concert Since 1978

10cc RETURNS - BRITISH POP LEGENDS,
LED BY CO-FOUNDER
GRAHAM GOULDMAN, PERFORM FIRST
U.S. CONCERT IN SINCE 1978

For the first time back in the U.S. since 1978, British pop-art band 10cc performs at The Concert Hall in New York City, on Friday, July 13, part of a two-date flying visit to North America. The other show is a headline spot at Ottawa BluesFest in Canada.

Over their 40-year career, 10cc has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.  From their breakthrough debut single  "Donna" in 1972 to instantly recognizable smash hits, "I'm Not in Love," "The Things We Do For Love," "Dreadlock Holiday," "Wall Street Shuffle" and many more, 10cc combined progressive art-rock tendencies with an ear for melody, creating a truly influential body of work.

"Things We Do For Love" has been played over 3.5 million times on US radio. "I'm Not In Love" (played more than 5 million times on US radio) has been recorded by The Pretenders (for the film Indecent Proposal), Will To Power, Peggy Lee, Richie Havens, Fun Lovin' Criminals, and most recently The Flaming Lips.

Led by co-founding Graham Gouldman, the current 10cc line-up has been together for 10 years and recently toured Australia, Japan and Europe – even visiting Iceland - will be finally unleashed in NYC, with old and new fans experiencing the live energy and excellence of their classic tracks.

In addition to a full 90-minute set of 10cc hits, audiences will be treated to an acoustic performance featuring some of the hit songs Gouldman has written for other artistes, such as For Your Love, and Heart Full of Soul, (for The Yardbirds), Bus Stop and Look Through Any Window (The Hollies), Listen People and No Milk Today (Herman's Hermits), Pamela, Pamela (Wayne Fontana) and Tallyman for Jeff Beck.

As a part of the Wax duo with the late Andrew Gold, Gouldman also had hits with Right Between The Eyes and Bridge To You Heart.   Alongside his long history of songwriting credits, Gouldman also produced albums for The Ramones and Neil Sedaka.

10cc was originally comprised of Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley and Lol Crème. The current live touring band is: Graham Gouldman (vocals, guitar, bass), Rick Fenn (guitars, vocals, bass), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion), Mick Wilson (vocals, guitars, keyboards, percussion), Mike Stevens (keyboards, guitar, sax, bass, vocals).  Paul has worked with 10cc from the beginning and Rick joined the live band in the mid-'70s.
