With Uriah off to Burning Man, Kevin and I will be playing a special Rush tribute set with founding Points North bass player and current member of Death Angel, Damien Sisson. We've not been on stage all together since Damien joined us for a couple of songs at our CD release show back in March, and the last time we played a full as "Fred Barchetta" was at least year's Walnut Festival in Walnut Creek. So we're really looking forward to it, and rehearsals have been an absolute blast!
Joining us on vocals will be original "Fred Barchetta" member Scotty Tonkin, also of local tribute bands Powerage (AC/DC) and Ozzy Alive (Ozzy Osbourne), along with guest appearances by Kristina VanAmburgh and Jay Mallory.
Opening the show will be The Jimmy Hats, featuring our good friend Mike Mansourian on bass, and closing the night will be Bad Boy Eddy - who also joined us at our CD release show - serving up their brand of high-powered hard rock and metal.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
