FIRE ON DAWSON NEW ALBUM RELEASE: 7 Billion and a Nameless Somebody

German Progressive Rock Band FIRE ON DAWSON have released their second full length album called "7 Billion and a Nameless Somebody" on 31 st  July, 2012 under the label Degressive Records. Recorded and mixed in the band's own studio in Germany, the album was then sent to Hollywood, USA to be mastered by multiple award winning sound engineer Stephen Marsh (INCUBUS, KORN, THE HANGOVER). The new album is the follow up to the band's highly acclaimed debut album "Prognative" (2010).

"Crunching riffs, simmering melodies and soaring vocals complete the unique sonic landscape FIRE ON DAWSON has crafted for it's latest release '7 Billion and a Nameless Somebody'. Not just a logical 'next-step' from their prior release, it's also an exploration into what this band might sound like in years to come. The textures of the album will keep you coming back for listen after listen as the layers production pulls you deeper and deeper into the layers of sound." ... Stephen Marsh

A complete track listing of the album reads as follows:
We Are All Vain
Pseudo Christ
The Code
Steal the Show
Synthetic Part I
Debris
God of the Lost
Syria
Willow
Synthetic Part II

FIRE ON DAWSON, with their Indian vocalist and German instrumentalists combo, released their debut album "Prognative" in 2010. The album debuted at no.1 in both the German and Indian Myspace Rock Charts, while also enjoying top 10 stints in the Progressive Rock charts of Eastern Europe and South America. The band spent most of 2010 and 2011 in the Worldwide Myspace Progressive Rock charts Top 50, peaking at no.16 in December 2011. The success of their debut album has already seen the band tour the Indian subcontinent twice and perform at Asia's biggest cultural festival alongside KATATONIA in 2010. Their pedigree has not only been acknowledged overseas but also closer to home, with a series of headlining and co-headlinin summer festival shows in Germany in 2011/2012.

With their new album, the band hopes to provide listeners a glimpse of the musical evolution the band themselves have experienced over the last 2 years. With intricate timing patterns and rhythm changes being punctuated by lush, melodic landscapes, "7 Billion and a Nameless Somebody" promises to deliver the listener a musical piece ready to satisfy the most ardent of hungers.
