ProgDay Weekend Show: MIND at Local 506!
Saturday night of ProgDay weekend Local 506 will be hosting a performance by Memphis prog band MIND. The band formed in 2008 when keyboardist/singer MICHAEL GREENE answered an ad from drummer KEVIN JENKINS who was looking for someone who wanted to play progressive rock. MIND released their debut disc, "Structure," in 2012, featuring a blend of many influences ranging from symphonic prog and space rock to heavy prog and fusion.

This year's ProgDay features Accordo Dei Contrari (Italy), Birdsongs Of The Mesozoic (US), Karcius (Canada), Iluvatar (US), Consider The Source (US), Doctor Nerve (US), Ephemeral Sun (US) and Deadnaught (US). ProgDay 2012, the 18th edition of the longest running progressive rock festival in the world, will take place on Saturday, September 1st, and Sunday, September 2nd, at Storybook Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
