SCOLOPENDRA is a parisian extreme metal band since 2007.Genuine 'family affair', the band has for hard core the brothers Maxime "Pantin" L'hoir Thomas "Lord Noué" L'hoir and Olivier "Capitaine" Le Linrespectively guitarist, frontman and bassist of the band.
Over the years these merry men have refined a style, first at the crossroads of the thrash and the hardcore represented on a demo release 2008 and near quality of a true black metal, before finally turning in 2010 to heavier compositions to the convoluted structures mixing their inspirations of the death-metal crossed extreme. An EP was then born in winter 2011.
The combo has scoured several small and medium-sized Parisian venues since birth including the Trabendo, La cigale, or even La Machine Du Moulin Rouge)
Today, the band is coming back with a new album "Cycles" to be released soon and presents an entity received at maturity, able to control its sound blast to form instantly recognizable chunks.
