Adrian Belew

Adrian Belew, man of mystery and intrigue. How does he do that? Come to the camp and find out.
Adrian will do his utmost to instruct and entertain. He will make himself available for private lessons as well.
His resume' reads like a who's who of innovative music: Zappa, Bowie, Talking Heads, Nine Inch Nails, and many more. He has a long list of writing credits including 20 solo records, his work with The Bears, and 30 years of crafting material as the singer/writer/frontman for King Crimson.
Adrian has produced hit records, performed concerts all around the world since 1977, and has created enough of a unique guitar legacy to be named Best Experimental Guitarist 5 years running, then to be inducted into Guitar Player's Hall Of Fame. Guitar work, guitar gear, recording, performing, writing, singing, the music business, you name it, Adrian has his own take on it and is happy to share it with you. Bring an open mind and have some fun!

Pat Mastelotto

Pat Mastelotto, master of acoustic drums as well as electronic percussion. With Crimson since 1994.
Pat Mastelotto practically started playing drums in a camp as his first three lessons came during a summer arts program when he was 10 years old and has built such an extensive resume that squeezing it into this paragraph would require a geometric miracle.
Pat continues to record and perform around the world in a multitude of projects, and is dedicated to embracing new technologies. He proposes to do mornings on the practice pad with any and all level campers (Pat has the distinction of double drumming with Bill Bruford, Terry Bozzio, Gavin Harrison, and soon you). He will also spend time each day explaining the 'hows and whys; of  his use of electronics and allowing students to interact with his gear – possible Pro Tools Q/A on recording drums at home, everyone is home recording and after almost 40 years of working in some of greatest studios with some of the greatest engineers he's learned a lot.

Tony Levin

Tony Levin, bassist and Stickist with Crimson since 1981, has recorded with Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Pink Floyd and others. Well known for playing live with Peter Gabriel and with Crimson, he brings to the camp many of his Music Man basses, his Chapman Stick, his funk fingers, espresso machine(!), and willingness to share ideas, teach, and interreact with players and fans.
Expect tips on coming up with bass sounds for different situations. For fashioning bass parts with King Crimson or Peter Gabriel or just a singer songwriter who wants a good bass on their record, on sounds and techniques for recording the bass, on concert sounds for clubs to arenas. For Stick players, different techniques can be covered, as
well as sounds for the bass and guitar side of the instrument.
Interests from campers will determine a lot of the agenda from Tony's daily classes – from maintaining a road diary, to what espresso machine to take on the road.
The emphasis will be on universal topics that are of use to players at all levels, and of interest to fans who are not players.
Tony's (http://tonylevin.com/index.shtml) has lots of information on him as well as diaries from past tours
