IRISH rock guitarist Gary Moore, best known for his stints with Thin Lizzy, has died at a hotel in Estepona, Spain, aged 58.
Moore left and rejoined Thin Lizzy several times in the 1970s and 1980s. Prior to Thin Lizzy he played in the Irish group Skid Row - not to be confused with the US band of the same name - with future Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott, and played on Lynott's solo album Solo in Soho.He also played on solo material by Emerson, Lake & Palmer bassist Greg Lake, and in the supergroup BBM with former Cream members Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker.
