Los Angeles based progressive death metal titans, THE FACELESS, set the bar for progressive metal this decade and their latest offering, Planetary Duality - a face melting barrage of off-time intensity that will leave you breathless. The group will take a break from the recording process for their much anticipated third full-length release to annihilate the European masses.
Michael Keene (guitars) states: "This next record is going to be the most musical and progressive record we've made. Since recording Planetary Duality, the goals of THE FACELESS have changed a bit. You can still expect a fast, technical and blistering record, but I personally am less focused on a musical aesthetic and more on musicality and making an expressive, unique, moody and expansive record. Speed picking, flying double bass and skin melting guitar solos are certainly still in order. However, you can also expect more clean vocals with big harmonies, some unique instrumentation, dark moody passages, interesting keyboards, synth guitars, vocoder and sequenced segments. It's going to be the most focused and depressive FACELESS record to date."
BORN OF OSIRIS are mature well beyond their years and this dynamic extreme progressive juggernaut has now perfectly honed all of their collective talents to create what will soon be a pinnacle release for the metal genre. This ground-breaking six-piece group creates an epic mix of intricate and memorable melodies with challenging time signatures that still hold an infectious groove, all while maintaining sheer, tasteful brutality. Their much anticipated third full-length album, "The Discovery", is going to serve the scene the much needed wake-up call it so much needs.

Lee McKinney (guitars) further comments: "We are so happy to be heading over to Europe with our friends in The Faceless and Veil of Maya. We've been friends with VOM since long before we were signed and touring, and have been friends with the Faceless since recording our first record. It's going to be amazing to head overseas with such good friends to play music and hang out. We are stoked for Gorod to be on the tour as well, they seem like a very talented band and we are excited they are coming along. We just got back from Europe and had a great time, this should be even better!"
The Chicago based VEIL OF MAYA encompass the good old American blue collar work ethic and have definitely taken the hard road to success grinding it out on the road through countless tours over the years, but now that backbreaking schedule is paying off tenfold. This quartet are one of the few very bands that can authentically mix elements of progressive metal, melodic death metal, thrash and hardcore brutality together effectively, all while keeping the listener constantly interested with baited breath wondering just what is coming next.
