Peter Frampton is a Grammy®-winning guitarist and songwriter best known for his 1976 multi-platinum selling live album Frampton Comes Alive! which spawned the hit singles Show Me The Way, Baby, I Love Your Way, and Do You Feel Like We Do. Frampton will perform these songs at the upcoming Roundhouse show, plus songs from his extensive catalogue, including Humble Pie.
"It's like a breath of fresh air after listening to one particular version," says Frampton about the reissue of Humble Pie's Rockin' The Fillmore live album. "The beauty of it is that you get three completely different performances of most of the songs. It's great to hear Steve Marriott's banter from all of the shows. We've lived with 'It's really been a gas!' for 40-odd years, and now there's more."
Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. At 16, he was lead singer and guitarist for British band the Herd. At 18, he co-founded one of the first super groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His session work includes such legendary artists as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle and many others. His fifth solo album, the electrifying Frampton Comes Alive!, is one of the top-selling live records of all time.
