Oklahoma based progressive metallers, Vangough, premiere a new video today for a song Seperation, taken from the band's third album Between the Madness released in 2014. The video is receiving its exclusive premiere courtesy of Prog Sphere. Check out the video here.
Between the Madness ended on the TOP 100 of the Prog Archives list of the best albums for 2013. The video for Seperation was directed by Will Thompson and edited by Jayson Lewis.
Band's guitarist and singer Clay Withrow commented: "We wanted to capture the energy of our live show, as well as the frenetic nature of the song.
"I think as a representation of the band, it's a big step up from our last video."
"As for the location, we filmed it in an abandoned church down the street from our studio. Thinking back, it was a pretty dangerous location as the floors were almost entirely rotted out."
Vangough will play the upcoming edition of ProgPower USA festival together with Pain of Salvation and Theocracy in Atlanta on September 10.
Between the Madness is available from Bandcamp in different formats: a standard digipak CD, digital download, digipak + T-shirt combo and the signature combo edition comprised of an autographed digipak CD plus digital download, two 18" x 24" posters and an awesome eyeflower T-shirt. Get it here.
