January 13, 2015 -- Veteran Swedish proggers Kaipa release their 12th album, Sattyg, today in North America! The 68-minute tour-de-force of classic, folk-inflected prog is available as a jewel case CD and digital download.
Sattyg is an opus of lush, earthy, magical prog, all any Kaipa fan could ever want, a unique mix of Swedish folk music, rock and fusion with a tinge of medieval music that has given Kaipa a special place in many people's hearts all over the world. The sense of wonder that characterizes their latest albums has been taken to a new level with Sattyg. Unpredictable paths are discovered on this new expedition. As always, they take you with them to explore new exciting horizons, but at the same time the band maintains its root approach to bring you familiar, classic Kaipa music.
