FRACTAL MIRROR Signs With Synergy Electronic Music

“Fractal Mirror have made a strong opening statement with a fine combination of upbeat, crafted pop rock songs nicely offset by the darker, melancholic and somber pieces. An album to return to often…” The Progressive Aspect, UK.

Synergy Electronic Music announces the signing of Fractal Mirror. The band’s initial release Strange Attractors on the Third Contact imprint, distributed by eOne, will be available on March 18, 2014 in North America on CD and worldwide for downloading via iTunes, Amazon and many other sites.

Fractal Mirror’s song-focused compositions, blending pop and rock influences, and progressive styling with the heavy use of synthesizers and Mellotrons, was a natural fit for Synergy’s Third Contact label. “I really like Fractal Mirror’s emphasis on melody and composition. They have some really unique and interesting music in their pipeline” said Larry Fast, founder of Synergy. Strange Attractors has received critical acclaim in US and European progressive magazine reviews, including Best Debut of a Band 2013 in Progarchy, the music blog.

About Fractal Mirror:

The origins of Fractal Mirror can be traced back to the mid-eighties when Leo and Ed from the Netherlands started to make music together. In 2013 they posted some music online looking for feedback, and met their drummer via the Big Big Train Facebook site. They began exchanging music files with positive results, leading to the decision to move forward as Fractal Mirror. Strange Attractors was mixed and mastered by Rhys Marsh of Autumnsongs in Norway. They are well into the recording of their second CD to be released later in 2014.

Fractal Mirror is:
Leo Koperdraat: Voice, guitars, keyboards
Ed van Haagen: Bass, keyboards, programming
Frank Urbaniak: Drums, percussion
