New supergroup Noturnall to play beneficent show with Russell Allen in Sao Paulo

Band is formed by members of Angra and Shaman. The event will also be filmed for a DVD



Already available the self-titled debut album of Noturnall, new brazilian supergroup formed by the Shaman members Thiago Bianchi (vocal), Fernando Quesada (bass), Leo Mancini (guitar), Junior Carelli (keyboards) and the worldwide famous drummer Aquiles Priester (Hangar, ex-Angra).

Recorded at Fusao VM&T Studios in Sao Paulo and at The Shanty Shack Studios in New Jersey (USA), Noturnall's debut album has as one of the producers the Symphony X vocalist, Russell Allen, and brings the tracks "No Turn At All", "Nocturnal Human Side", "Zombies", "Master Of Deception", "St. Trigger", "Sugar Pill", "Last Wish", "Hate", "Fake Healers" and "The Blame Game".

In Brazil, the physical version of the album is being distributed by Voice Music, while Wikimetal is in charge for the digital distribution.

For three consecutive weeks the album holds the first position among the Best Sellers of Die Hard Records - one of the major Brazilian CDs stores - besides have beaten the record for pre-orders.

In terms of stage, Noturnall will debut on March 29th with a big free and beneficent show at Carioca Club in Sao Paulo. On the ocassion, none other than Russell Allen will make a special guest appearance on a set list that will count with all the songs from the CD besides some suprises.

To qualify for free entrance, interested parties should donate 1kg of non-perishable food or 1 toy for Casa Hope (casahope.org.br), an brazilian institution in support of children with cancer.

Free tickets must be taken in advance from March 7th at three different points in the city of Sao Paulo: Die Hard Records (Galeria do Rock), EM&T Escola de Música e Tecnologia (Eng. George Corbisier Avenue, 100) or at Carioca Club (Cardeal Arcoverde Street, 2899). Will be provided a maximum of four tickets per person in order of arrival. The food and toys to be donated should be delivered only on the day of the show at the entrance of Carioca Club.

The show of March 29th also has another big feature: the recording of Noturnall's first DVD.

The work will be produced by three different Brazilian companies, FX Render from the winning director Alex Batista - who had previously worked with the band in the video "Nocturnal Human Side" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYHy1i-XKo4 -, Foggy Films that was responsible for the band's second video, "No Turn At All" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThADt6FMzBc - besides Fusao Studios.
Several tons of equipment will be available, including 15 cameras, three cranes and a 10 feet long led screen.

"This will be a very special night for us of Noturnall", declares the bass player Fernando Quesada. "Besides being the show that opens the tour, we will record the DVD and have the participation of a great singer who has become a great friend. Moreover, we feel happy to help a cause like the Casa Hope, since it is a subject present in our lives. Anyway, play this show and record the DVD will be an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of the tour with our fans."
