'Alchemy' in Cheltenham, UK
It's less than two weeks till the 'Alchemy' shows in Cheltenham! It's
hard to believe how time flies... We are now standing at a threshold
of what the whole 'Alchemy' team (more than 50 people) has been
working on for 3 long years. The shows in Cheltenham, on 5th, 6th and
7th September, will be full theatrical events taking place at the
Cheltenham Playhouse Theatre. The rehearsals are now in full swing and
almost all pieces of the jigsaw (costumes, props, scenery,
choreography, etc.) are in place now. And by the look of it, you're up
for a treat! It's a very important and special event for us, so don't
miss it and share it with us!.... Saturday night has been sold out,
but you can still join us on Thursday and Friday.

'Alchemy' Cast
To those who have been following 'Alchemy' developments, the all-star
line-up of the Cheltenham shows will come as no surprise. The 3 main
shows will feature some well know progressive rock names. In some of
the principal roles we will see Andy Sears (ex-Twelfth Night), David
Clifford (Red Jasper) and Clive Nolan himself. Moreover, in the
orchestra pit we will find more prog-world celebrities: Scott Higham
(Pendragon), Mark Westwood (Shadowland) and Claudio Momberg (Seti,
Taurus). Chris Lewis, formerly involved with The Enid, and Agnieszka
Swita, a lead vocalist for Clive's rock opera 'She', will re-appear on
the Playhouse stage too.
If you are in Cheltenham for the Saturday evening show, you should
also get a 'taste' of the show in an utterly different version. Join
us for the afternoon matinee on Saturday and you will be nicely
surprised! The matinee will be performed by our talented understudies.
Interestingly, some of the actors have been cast in double roles
(Victoria Bolley and Chris Lewis) and you will be able to see them in
both versions. Moreover, the role of Thomas Anzeray at the Saturday
matinee will feature a guest performance of Paul Manzi (Arena).
Merchandise
During the shows in Cheltenham you will be able to purchase a number
of merchandise designed especially for these shows. A special limited
edition of the 'Alchemy in Cheltenham' T-shirts will be available
along with CDs and our latest pride and joy, the 'Alchemy' theatre
programmes. Designed by Graeme Bell (Planet Twig), the programme is a
perfect complement to the shows and a must-have for all every fan!
